I'm not a good lyricist, but I think this timeless classic should be re-updated. But first, some history.
In 1979, a band called the Buggles made a song called "Video Killed the Radio Star". Ironically, in 1981 when MTV launched, the music video of exactly this song was their debut broadcast. In 2000, eStudio.com parodied this with an animated music video parody by the Broad Band. 2060. Isen't it time for Simsense to Kill the Internet Star? (Matrix star, maybe? :) ) |

heh. well, the thing is, how do people get most of their simsense? through the Matrix. so it'd actually be more like "simsense and Matrix technologies killed all other forms of media, ever". except that's hard to rhyme.

More like Simsense killed the Trideo star, only it didn't just like video did not kill the radio star. Radio and video simply have found different niches, just as Trideo and simsense will in the future.

I think the ironic part is that it didn't come true... So the question is how to update the irony... I'd recomend ,"Simsense killed the trideo star." |

I traced you on the matrix back in twenty-sixty-two,
jacked in, intent on operating Analyze Icon on you, I was young and your host's access rating stopped me coming through, Fast-jack... You were the best decker you could be, Back when simsense was new technology, Now when people walk the streets the matrix they can see, Fast-jack And the otaku, Fast-jack, What did you tell them? Wireless killed the wiz decker, Wireless killed the wiz decker. |

Just thought I'd edit this and finish it a bit... (Edited and checked against the original lyrics)
I traced you on the matrix back in 'sixty-two, Jacked in, intent on using Analyze on you, I was young and your host stopped me coming through, Fast-jack... You were the best decker you could possibly be, Back when simsense was the new technology, Now when people walk the streets the matrix they can see, Fast-jack And the otaku, Fast-jack, What did you tell them? Wireless killed the wizzer decker, Wireless killed the wizzer decker, AR came and broke your heart Cap-i-tan Chaos And now we meet in an abandoned Matrix Node, We live the simsense and it seems not long ago, And you remember the newbies used to cry, "Fast-Jack!" You were the best one. Fast-Jack You are the last one. Wireless killed the wizzer decker, Wireless killed the wizzer decker, In my head and in my deck, we can't reboot - we've gone too far Cap-i-tan Chaos Cap-i-tan Chaos Wireless killed the wizzer decker, Wireless killed the wizzer decker, In my head and in my deck, we can't reboot - we've gone too far AR came and broke your heart, put the blame on RCS ((You are a wizzer decker.)) ((You are a wizzer decker.)) Wireless killed the wizzer decker, Wireless killed the wizzer decker, Wireless killed the wizzer decker, Wireless killed the wizzer decker, Wireless killed the wizzer decker ((you are a wizzer decker)) |

incidently, the radio star, was the skits they had done. like amos and andy. The voice actors didn't "look" the part when tv hit, so that type of star died off. They weren't talking about songs.
yeah! me use noggin'!!! |
