When in doubt, throw a grenade. Indirect explosions mean never having to say your sorry.

I'm redecorating the house and my computer is unplugged and stored halfway across the town-which means I don't have access to my sheet.
Can you roll for me since I probably won't have access until next thursday? |

Jake - Initiative(9) + [3,3,3,3,1,2,5,6,3] 2 hits = 11
Initiative (I think I have the # of passes correct) Human-1 = 13(1) Human-2 = 13(1) Jake = 11(3) {Hot Sim VR} Carter = 9(1) Rex = 9(1) Troll = 9(1) |

I will elect to dodge for sure. My understanding is that those dice will be applied on the first attack, and the other attacks are resolved against only reaction as normal, right? Also, by dodge ranks, you mean dodge + ag or just the dodge skill?
And if I dodge, I suspect it would be behind the vehicle. Do I still receive the three other shots after that? I guess that the answer might be yes for concerns of game mechanics and balance, but it's not that obvious to me why this would be. Sorry for asking all those questions, I'm not trying to argue or anything, just making sure I understand the rules correctly. |

75m is well out of heavy pistol range. Is there continued cover for Carter to sneak along and close distance? If so, that is what he will do.

I will elect to dodge for sure. My understanding is that those dice will be applied on the first attack, and the other attacks are resolved against only reaction as normal, right? Also, by dodge ranks, you mean dodge + ag or just the dodge skill? No. The dodge dice go into your pool. The attribute for countering in combat is reaction. And if I dodge, I suspect it would be behind the vehicle. Do I still receive the three other shots after that? I guess that the answer might be yes for concerns of game mechanics and balance, but it's not that obvious to me why this would be. The 'fluff' effect of your dodge will be ducking into the ditch. All shots are considered "simultaneous" and all must be dealt with.Sorry for asking all those questions, I'm not trying to argue or anything, just making sure I understand the rules correctly. No problem. We're good. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) |

I'll spread my dodge between the two shots which have 2 hits.
6d6.hits(5) -> [3,6,5,4,2,1] = (2) 6d6.hits(5) -> [6,5,5,1,2,5] = (4) 4d6.hits(5) -> [3,4,6,2] = (1) 4d6.hits(5) -> [4,4,6,5] = (2) Guess things turned out all right. I figured I might have been able to take the damage with my high Body and good armor, but this time Rex was fast enough (wow!). Notice I wouldn't have needed to use dodge with the dice I threw!! EDIT: Okay, I guess I got things wrong. You've used all 8 dice of the pool, and then -1 per following roll to dodge? Anyway, I guess it worked out so whatever. I really need to reread the ranged combat section in the main book. |

Once you declare full defense, the dodge dice go into your defense pool. In any case, I need a new init for Rex and Carter.

Where is that damn troll??
I think I'll take one action to look around while in cover, and delay the other action (assuming I don't see anything I should shoot at with my first). I wanna be ready in case something big shows up or if our clients need cover fire. Perception: 4 successes |

Sorry, went to check ranges on Heavy Pistols and got completely distracted. Posting now.
Simple Action ready weapon, simple to aim. Next round will be simple to aim, and simple to fire. (Two aiming actions to cancel range penalties) |

GM Poll: We are obviously within a few combat turns of the end. Everyone seems to be losing motivation to post IC. So....
1) Would you like to to wrap up the scene with a big post. 2) Answer your questions so you are able to post IC 3) Other. {Please elaborate} |

Sorry that I left you hanging there. What you did with Rex is perfectly ok.
Anyway, Rex will keep on observing around hi and will shoot on any potential threat (or hold action). And well.. I'm all up for 1). |
