Hey, I'm in the midst of building some pregenerated characters for the Shadowrun one-shots that I'm running at my school's convention and I'm in the need of some assistance:

Currently I'm building a hacker and I was wondering: would the combat paralysis quality affect cybercombat as well? It seems that it would, but for some reason I'm not certain.

Oh, and as for the other pregens that I've already made:
Heavy Combat Specialist (a.k.a.: Guns. Lots of guns.)
Gunslinger: Pistol Specialist
Mystic Beastmaster Adept: Conjuring beast spirits and animal control
Ex-Corp Troubleshooter: The picture had an elf wearing a uniform with a Cross Applied Technologies patch on it; I ran with it from there.
Black Ops Specialist: Skill groups: Stealth, Firearms, Electronics, Cracking. :)
Combat Adept: Melee combat specialist
Gillette: Yeah, well... Do I really need to say anything?
Whizzer Ganger: Again, need I say anything?

I'm also going to be using the pregens given in the book, but building my own seemed like a fun idea.

The flaw is worth 20BP. It definitely should apply to cybercombat. You can still get hurt so it's reason enough to be nervous.

Good luck with the Con, btw. Do us all proud amidst the D&D'ers. ;)

That's what I figured, but I wasn't sure.

And I'm the only Runner here at the school at the moment--the last crew graduated the year before I came here. So any SR stuff here is my baby, and believe me when I say that I'm treating it as such.

Although I did get some of them to play a session at our last games day and it went fairly well... except I hadn't considered the consequences of letting three of the five play as heavy combat specialists on the "On The Run" module(at Nabo's concert, their idea of a "diversion" for the Black Ops specialist was throwing grenades into the crowd... and then the sniper started picking off the bouncers...)
