Ok, Considering its similarity to Shadowrun, and related literature, I'm sure someone here has read the book I'm gonna describe. Please help me and ID it?
Main character is a hacker or decker or something. Becomes an outlaw. Gets illegal cybergoodies. Has something similar to a sentient frame, or cyber pal. Like a Ally Spirit or something, but softwarewise you know? Gets some kind of device filled with a knockout chemical, connects it to a sprinkler system pipe. It punctures the pipe, fills the system, and when he activates the sprinkler, knocks out everyone in the room. Has a long stemmed white rose tatooed on his "Mr. Johnson" Spreads a rumor about his tat. Sends a long stemmed white rose to the investigator of his case. What book is it I'm thinking of? One of you has to recognize it, please help! |

Hi,
the first five ones make me think of Case in William Gibson's Neuromancer. The other don't ring any bell at all. tbd |
