Scroll about halfway down, thats where the bit about this system begins. This thing fires the same 40mm long high-pressure rounds that the Mk-19 uses. |

Has arrived and has went away, all over 2 years ago. :)
It definitely looked cool, though. Almost as cool as their 76mm version of the same HIWS. |

Actually the system is still in development, and several FN reps made references to significant progress on the system at this years SHOT show. |

Wow. They just don't know when to give up, do they. :)
In the meanwhile, the XM109 is here already, works just fine, and fits the Assault Cannon bill perfectly. |

How can you even translate how that does damage in a FPS? The thing is meant to handle armored vehicles, not people. It would probably just blow right through a human, wasting him and that very expensive shell you just shot. Thats one of the reasons a panther is plain sick in SR and characters should understand the weight, not just physically, of what they are carrying and what it means to anyone who sees them with it.
Most GMs Ive run with just plain ban it, no etiquette test, no nothing, you dont get it. It really pissed off our quick striking troll adept, but I dont think this has to be, just remind them that if anyone, ANYONE, who knows anything sees them packing that kind of firepower they will be treated as a military threat and will bring down the might of the UCAS army. And no SR team can stand up to that. |
