Okay, so here's my first one. Put it together with photoshop and some face sketching software. I think it turned out pretty good. Comments?

Oh, and he's supposed to be a dwarf... if you're wondering about the height/weight thing. :D

Interesting way to go about it. I know we have some artists here on the board, myself included, but I haven't seen anyone do photoshop work like that before. I would like to see more of these to get a better feel for them.

Pretty cool! :)

But what's that 'thingie' in his nose supposed to be?

To make him more dwarvish, you could raise the shoulders to run more 'horizontal' if you know what I mean. Maybe make the neck shorter, too.

I agree with Thanee - looks pretty good, the nose thing confuses the heck out of me, and he seems like a dwarf head on a human body.

But an extremely cool idea, and well executed.

photos > drawings for SR in my opinion. and I actually do art for a living, it's not because I can't draw.

...would be interesting to see a try at one of the characters I have already posted (Leela or KK4.3). Are these generated from scratch or do you use a photographed model to start with?

About the nose thing.. it's not really any particular piece of gear. I think if someone needed justification for something like that, i'd just say that it's old cyberware. Perhaps a cut-rate job at that. Besides, I like the way it looks. 8)

I think I'm just trying to add some feeling of realism for my players-- since we're all a little older, i think we are looking for something more gritty.

I plan on doing more of these, I'll post them as I finish. Thanks for the input, gents.

100% keep doing them. The idea is great, and even with the nosewear, it's very cool. ;)

Yeah, it's pretty cool. Actually reminds me of someone I know ;) (who also plays shadowrun, I must show him this).

Can hardly wait to see more.

Ok, here is the second one. Not as flashy as the first, but I like the face. Tell me what you think, and what you'd like to see in the future.
