Miko isn't the type to do senseless violence and black hammer people just becuase she can. She's a lot more cautios than that. You might have her confused with the sociopath just down the way *points at Plan B's character*.

A bit confused, and more than a little wary about the strange matrix invite, Miko logs the node it took place in, then notes it in her commlink with the address and time. She then runs a data search to see what/where this address is.

After that's finished, she makes sure that her work log is completed, since she's apparenlty going to have a night out. She gets her gear together at the appropriate time, and heads out.

I agree with Fistandantilus, Sinn, we need an OOC thread... Smoke is not the type of character to live in a "shithole" apartment. I bought a medium lifestyle for her for three months. IF she was going to kill someone for their home, she would stake out a retired couple living in a nice house in Bellevue and kill them.

Smoke raises an eyebrow at the message and sneers. Someone wants to hire me? How quaint. Let's see... lack of morals, dirty work, and a desperate need. Could be interesting. I suppose I could see what this is all about... Come alone?Smoke laughs wickedly. I'm never alone. Isn't that right, my love?
From somewhere deep inside her she hears a deep chuckle, her body practically vibrates with it.
Smoke double checks the address for the warehouse and sighs.
I suppose there's really no call for getting dressed up then. Pity.
With nothing else to really do until then except rifle through the deceased's mail, Smoke dresses and gets ready for the meet.

Trevor looks around the room. I must be slipping if someone sees me when I am enjoying myself. Ah, well. Let's see what this mortal wants from me. ... If not mortal, then even more interesting. I do hope that there will be women... or at least a little something sweet. With that, he wipes his mouth and heads out to the address shown.

Trevor takes his Fichetti in the concealable holster to the warehouse and puts his Manhunter in the car.

Cat heads out to the warehouse on her bike an hour before the appointed time. She takes some time to hack a local street cam to get some extra eyes around the place, as well as the local wireless node so that it won't pick up her commlink's ID.

Once everything is set, she finds an out of the way place to wait a little ways away fromthe warehouse. Her armored jacket is currently colored black on black, along with her synthleather pants, and her Mirage. She's carrying both her predator and her Crusader, one loaded with Stick N'Shock, the Other Ex-Ex. Her Hair is black and purple, and she's waring her smartlinked "sunglasses", taking advantage of the low light feature, while she waits for someone to arrive.

Bored with the deceased's mail and bills, Smoke decides to summon a friend for the evenings meet. Going down into her temporary circle in the cellar, Smoke breathes in the familiar scent of fresh earth and damp stone. Smiling, she steps over the shallow grave of the man who lived here before her and goes to the painted circle.
Giving it a once over she takes a good long look to make sure the circle remains unbroken. Finding it intact, she gathers her materials and begins to summon.

Miko's Everyday
Basically a quick write up on the character's usual activities, life style, etc.

Miko lives in MTC housing, jsut a few blocks away from the MTC North American headquarters on Martin Luther King Jr Way and 68th street. On the rare days that she has to physically go to work, she takes the tram that goes uunder the street. She weras a jacket and conservative suit with a knee length skirt. She is very proper and respectful as is required in a corporation like MTC.

Usually her work is done from her 1 bedroom apartment. She telecommutes to work, as all she does is programming anyway. Her work requires 40 hours a week, and usually a bit of voluntary over time. She usually either divides it over a full 7 day week, doing about 6 hours of work each, usually at night or early morning. Thanks to her adept powers, she only needs 3 hours of sleep a night. She occasionally takes the compnay provided street drug Long Hual to keep going if she gets behind.

During the day, she spends a lot of time in the system. She also samples cal hots a lot, and considers her self a conneisuer. She has a regular dealer, and checks the code on each one before she slots it to make sure it's levels are done properly and ther'es no extra code. she prefers anime/action types, and porn sims.

During the night she goes out a lot, usually weraing armored leathers, changing colors often. Her hair has the color change optics treatment, so it changes colors often as well. She goes to a lot of street races with her bike , betting or participating, or goes to yak bars. When she can, she sees her s.o., ironically also named Miko, a higher up in the shotozumi-rengo.

MIko goes by her real name most of the time. But at street races, or in the matrix, where her icon appears as a black translucent cat girl, ,she goes by the nickname/handle Shadowcat.

She makes sure to put in a few hours each day working on programming, building agents, and also working on a special pyschotropic chip she's building.

Her home is ordered and neat, with many keep sakes from herhome inOsaka. It's a blend of modern tech, and Japanese culture.

She has a safe house on the edges of Puyallup. It's little more than a third floor flop house, but patched together and with some dececnt security and surveillance. She pays the local elf gang the Princes to keep and eye on her flop. This is where her lodge is hidden away.

Just a sum-up of Pierce:
Pierce is an ancient spirit, twisted and changed by the time spent away from his home, The Blood Wood. Pierce's real name has been lost to time, and even now he never speaks of it. He died after being seriously wounded in a battle, he was alive long enough to crawl into the cave that Smoke found him in. He died there after experiencing severe wood longing brought on by the wound.
When he speaks, he does so cynically but never mocks Smoke. She's his beloved in whatever twisted way something like Pierce could love. Pierce has no patience for those that question Smoke and vicariously him. He would rather Smoke destroy then nurture, the idea of her bantering and bargaining over price is beneath her.
Let me know if you have any questions about how Pierce would act or talk.. I would be happy to give you a rundown of what I have in my head. :)

That would be great. It would make it easier for me to play him out. When he was asking about cronies, its was more of that fact that he was humored. He enjoys seeing her using her power. As you said, he'd rather have her destroy someone for mocking her.

And ben, give me a run down of the conacts of the men and woman Shadowcat speaks with, so I can do a better job playing as well. To kinda get a feel for them.

Well considering you only have a street cred of 1 and nobody else has any, I didnt really think hed be kissing anyones ass. He doesnt care, as long as you do the job.

So SinN, about this cred on his commlink..

There's gotta be something more there, like an account that he's accessed or something. There's no way that this guy tools around with 7 freaking mages at his beck and call, and only has $3000 for spending cash. Someone with that kind of pull is going to spend more than that on a hotal room. He'd have had to access an account with more avaialbe than waht he has with certified cred. After all, how the hell was he gonna pay us the upfront 50%?

This one kind of examplafies how I see Miko. Very street, although as in contrast to this particular one, her style is much more smooth and stream lined. The small hint of magic though is what I was talking about. The look is pretty close too.
