I'm still here I'm just not sure what/where to go with my hacking. I found the node. I stealthed the node (Hopefully) Now comes the fun part finding the file and copying it without getting pinched.

I jsut wish you'd stop hacking the node! Hacking the vet's system is completely worthless to us, and potentially dangerous. The guy wants us to steal the horse. How else can you explain $12 that can just run away really fast and no magical security?!

@Fist: For what it's worth the node hack was Callidus's idea. I agreed cause Charlie was thinking "Gee I need to impress these guys"
On the meta gaming front: I have a couple o' thoughts if you're interested. For all intents and purposes. I agree with you. We are in fact meant to steal Mr Day. That however does not prevent your lovely wife from making said operation as hard as is metahumanly possible to do. And for the record, just because there was no magic security listed does not mean there is none present. Who knows maybe one of the stable boys has Latent Awakening, maybe Lucky is immmune. Maybe the 2070 racing rule board has a strict no magic policy. We don't know. I have not found any magical security and Shell didn' find any. However we are both hackers, we don't know what the frag we are looking for or at when it comes to magic. End of rant. Sorry just thought I'd explain my metagame postion. Like G.I. Joe said "Knowing is half the battle" Or to quote (roughly) Sun Tzu "Know yourself and know your enemy and in a hundred battles you will be successful" |

Maybe it's just my way of thinking but :
makes more sense to me than all the rest of that. Carry on. :) IC reasons are the best reasons. Which is why I'm sticking to my arguement.
