I'm prety sure Wizkids are fine with a free fan product, but once you start charging $ for the product, then you are gitting into trouble.

...biting the EXEX bullet & going to Kinko's tomorrow to get a scan done. The one thing, I do not have Photoshop or any other really decent image processing software so it will be the raw scan.

BTW Direct Linky all broken.

Took it down again. Was only a draft and I hadn't put hyperlinks in to where all the artists wanted them. I'll do this properly one more time when I have all the artwork. Takes a while to put everything together into a PDF.

How about Bubba the Love Troll in either a speedo or swim trunk with leg holes that are way too large ( such you really don't want him to sit down due to a high risk of fall-out).

...OK here she is.

Please excuse the image quality as pencil scans do not come out very well without a lot of post process work. Being that I was "on the clock" at Kinko's and not up to speed on the current version of Photoshop® I was limited in what I could so to try and enhance the image.

As mentioned in the comments, this is the first sketch I have done in a while due to my advancing arthritis. Although I'll admit it was fun to do in spite of all the Advil™ required.

Dude - all your disclaimers notwithstanding, that's my favorite one so far on this thread. And she doesn't look underage at all (maybe that's why you're dissatisfied?).

...Many thanks.

Yeah, age is a tricky thing, though I am satisfied with her appearance. It works for me because after all, she is modeling and thus would definitely undergo a bit of a makeover.

I guess I'm more disappointed about the reproduction quality. Seeing the high quality of submissions by Squinky, HolyChampion, and Trigger (who by the way does pencil works & gets them to reproduce with all the subtle nuances) I feel I need better scan and touch up tools of my own to really bring an image out better. Because of my stiff hands I tend to have a very soft touch.

...gosh :embarassed:...thank you very much

Actually I am going though my archives and will be posting some of the stuff I have done in the past. Non SR pics will be in the General Gaming thread.

As I mentioned, it was fun and the experience kind of made me see how much I missed drawing. I wish I could afford the latest & greatest in graphics processing software (MS Paint just doesn't cut it).

...oh & don't count out any future stuff appearing now that I've been bitten by the bug again. For now I will not be doing commission work since I cannot guarantee a reasonable time frame. Also, my technique and style tends to favour female characters (most of my males tend to look too "girly", which I guess is fine for elves :grinbig: and some alien races).

AT the very least, you should put up your KK art up there.

...the Short One (:ic: "...hey pilgrim, watch who you're calling short...") <ahem> ...KK is next on the list. I still have the first sketch I ever did of her (long before the "Bushido Cowgirl" days). Radically different considering this was SR1 and the "Punk" was still in Cyberpunk.

Are you aware of the GIMP?

http://www.gimp.org/

I don't know how well it will run on your hardware. It likes memory, but no more so than Photoshop and its kind. Entirely free and very good. I use it for my own work.

Seconded. If you look at the maps and illustrations in my Shadowrun material, you'll see "Inkscape" stamped all over them. Great program, though not really what I think KK is looking for, here.

...looked over the site. Very, very nice, I like.

Am currently at a node that does not have the best connectivity, so I bookmarked the site & will download the various packages later when I can get a more stable connection.

...many thanks.

[edit]

@hobgoblin. Also looked over Inkscape and I can see some very good uses as well, particularly technical illo, (for a lot of the cool hardware & vehicles I designed) and of course, mapping.

Since this is also a"free drawing" programme, it definitely has my interest.

***

I looked at the galleries from both the GUG & Inkscape-DA sites and really like a lot of the stuff I saw.

Looks like it's time for an old pencil pusher to learn a few new tricks.

Again, very impressed and grateful for the links.

Absolutely. My comments served the dual purpose of clarifying that it wouldn't be useful for the purpose that KK gave and of exonerating myself for not having mentioned it first. ;)

Any suggestion that you should not have posted the link, was inferred but not implied. :) Inkscape is a great piece of software.

...got it, thanks.

looks like I'm going to have a busy weekend ahead of me.

BTW Leela's pic has been getting quite a few hits. Don't know if it's from casual viewers or fans of Futurama expecting to their the one eyed purple haired lovely.

I chose the name after seeing The Fifth Element as a slight variant on the character Leeloo who was an influence on the development of her personality.

...I just discovered the Leela Swimsuit pic has a reference on Google after I typed in "Groznek" while doing background research on the name.

..freaky :scatter:
