Ah, well, maybe your combats go to quickly... ;) In our group, we've used healing during combat. Generally the first question we ask a new mage/shaman is "Can you heal?"

'Course, that may say a bit about our group and combat... :grinbig:

...it's not so much combat ends quickly, it's more that our combats are rather deadly and nobody wants to be caught with their guard down for even a single IP.
