Dervish considers Bakatare's words. And he complains about my aura. But for a man of his power, such a curse could be dangerous. But a debt is a debt and that is something I cannot abide leaving undone

The elf speaks "I take it that you'll need my knowledge and skills for your "illicit activities"? As our friend " he indicates Porter "has said, less talk more action" He quietly places his AR glasses in his pocket "Let's go to this safe house of yours, I have some questions I would rather not have overheard"

Atreus continues to silently listen to the initial briefing and continued conversation. No familiarity with the ork tongue, he simply listens and watches body language.

He makes level eye contact with Bakatare to signal his acceptance of the details provided so far and his current lack of questions.

"I agree with my esteemed colleagues, I accept and eager to discuss details." Ikari stands and waits for the others to empty out of the room.

He seems unperturbed by Porter's rough demeaner, but he does nod at Sweetness' quotes.

"Excellent. I'm disseminating an address now. If you would all be so kind as to meet me there within two hours, we'll get things started." He slips on a pair of reflective gold wrap-arounds that match the delicate circuitry inlaid in the modified Actioneer suit.

<< Incoming data file. Accept? >> blinks politely on everyone's commlink.

With a nod to the assembled group, he turns and heads out the door. He pauses briefly to murmur something to Ikari, in deference to her unique situation.

Clay Moor will get from the table, smile at the English only comment or diatribe.

<<Accept incoming information.>>

Clay Moor will walk out with the group, as they head to the exit, once there he will produce his marker for his items he surrendered to the Two Door Persons.

Once he has the items, well secure them into their respective places.

He will wait to see if and how the group disperses.

As Bakatare pulls out his delicate AR gloves, Atreus changes his com from hidden to passive mode, accepts the session request and then the file from Bakatare. Atreus then nods to Bakatare and follows Clay out the door.

Smoothly Gregor got to his feet, ensuring he did not stay seated while the Lady rose. With an inquiring raised eyebrow, the ork asked politely of the human woman, "Will the Lady require an escort?"

Ikari bows deep enough to show her respect and finds herself secretly delighted by the Ork's offer. "You honor me and I would gladly accept your company on the short journey." She takes a position by his side as they begin to exit the meeting room.

Dervish flips his link to Public for the space of three breaths. The address is accepted and he flips back to Hidden mode for the time being.

The elf sees that the meeting has come to its natural end, so he stands and waits for the normal doorway clutter to disperse. He raises an eyebrow at the Ork's and the human woman's antiquated manners. Truly, wonders wil never cease in this the Sixth World. I hope their passion for form will not stand in the way of our biz He exits the room quietly and nods to Bakatare on his way out.

As he nears the hotel doorway he flips back to Public mode and returns his mind to the persona of Robert Burns private security consultant. He exits the hotel with the same uncaring stride that he entered with. And melts into the night shadows.

Gregor offered his arm, and with his other hand pulled out the chained fob commlink and pressed his prearranged signal for Milton's limo to meet him outside the Hotel California. Sliding the watch case back into his waistcoat pocket he discretely turns the device off. All the while his cane tucked under his arm, freeing his hand as the decorative handle of polished silver gleams with the pattern of scaled skin,

"Our carriage awaits!"

Clay Moor will watch those leaving, then will make his way to his motorcycle. Once there he will deactivate the security system, and then he will disarm the explosive charge. He will run thru the systems check on the motorcycle, then start the engine, he will then mount up and do a scan of the area, if nothing is out of place he will ride off.

Atreus; PAN=Passive [+LTG]; SIN= Shawn Smith [Not Broadcasting]

Atreus stops outside Hotel California as Clay heads on. Leaning against a wall off to the side, he assenses each of the team members as they pass by. A little something he licked up from his brother about learning about your team mates, not because you don't trust them but rather to better understand the capabilities of the team.

He watches as Gregor and Ikari exit and awaits the final two.

He picks up the waiting text message from his brother:
<< @Atreus [Ammon] You throw out my books and you'll find irritant watchers popping in and heckling you at the most inopportune times.>>

He'd actually been on the receiving end of irritant watchers from his brother several times during his life. He could *plink* them out of existence as quickly as his brother could send them, but they could be damn inconvenient... and potentially embarrassing.
<<@Ammon [Atreus] Remember that stupid rat shaman who used to have a quickened levitate spell?>>

Clay Moor; PAN=Active [+LTG]; SIN= Delbert Phatpakker [Not Broadcasting]

Clay Moor will nod to Atreus leaning against the wall, then drive off.

He will head towards one of the entrances he knows to the Ork Underground.

<<{Begin signal encryption}@Tommy TuTusks [Clay Moor] Tommy I have to go out of town for a while, could you feed the cats, and water my plants while I am gone. I will settle up for the cat food and plant fertilizer when I get back, but there is cat food in the kitchen pantry, hopefully that will be enough. Be careful of the spider plant as you enter, it is easy to knock over. Thanks Tommy. {end encryption}end message>>

Clay will ride down into the Ork Underground, he will give the persons hanging out there in the colors of the Skraacha, a nod as he goes in.

Once there he will park close to his place, he will deactivate the security system as he approaches the door. He will open the door, and once inside, he will disarm the explosive charge there.

He will scan the area and room, seeing nothing out of place, he will go to the hall closet and take out some gym bags. He will go around his place taking things from various places and putting them into the bags. Various weapons and such go into the bags.

Once he has finished filling the bags, he will go down by the bathroom. Once there he will open a cabinet after disarming the explosive charge there. He will take a kit bag from the cabinet and fill it is with the explosives there.

He will then gather up his bags, and leave his place, he will reactivate the alarm as he leaves.

Once at his motorcycle, he will scan the area, seeing nothing of note, will begin putting the bags into the storage compartments on his motorcycle.

He will run a check on his motorcycle then power it up, give the pilot the location given to him by Bakatare, he then will adjust the course to avoid as much as possible, certain areas of Seattle, then head out of the Ork Underground.

Ikari slides her arm into his and allows the Ork to lead the way. "It appears that even in this city a lotus can bloom." She schools her face to a pleasant mask as the move into the more public areas of the hotel. She feels her early training take over, gripping his arm with slightly less strength than his and letting her hand rest like a butterfly at his wrist. Her pace adjusts to perfectly compliment his and clearly shows he is in the lead.

Stepping out of the elevator, Porter shuffles his SIN and Access ID. With the interface overlaying his lower field of vision, he begins piping the surround sound effects through his aural feeds and heads for the safehouse.

A quick stop at his flat, yields a dingy, gray rucksack and choice bits of gear that had been inappropriate for the Hotel California. Changing coats, for a heavier seaman's coat, he looks like any of a hundred fishermen or dockworkers. Outsiders would see an ork, work boots and the signs that support a life which is dangerous and poorly paid. No reason to give him a second glance along the Tacoma docks.

As the hacker crosses from the outer reaches of the city into more heavily enforced regions, Porter sets his PAN to passive to avoid problems with the establishment.

This Access ID would be trashed as soon as he arrived at the safehouse, just another dead end data trail.

Two hours later...

The location is a split level ranch house, perched just on the edge of a much more prosperous area downtown. Some of the windows still have bars, and there's a bit of graffiti here and there, but it seems like the kind of location poised for a quick break into the stratosphere of housing prices.

Parked outside is a black and gold bike. As you move into the house, you can see that there's a basic security system, and nice furnishings. There is a large garage on the lower level, and a covered, closed in glass walled balcony on the back that looks over a small canyon.

Tacked onto each of the walls in the corners from floor to ceiling is a strip of what looks like clear duct tape with circuitry running through it. Bakatare is perched in a recliner in the living room, greeting each of the people coming in.

"There's three bedrooms plus the master suite, and 3 bathrooms, including the master suite. There are 2 double beds in each of the normal bedrooms, three in the master suite. One of the pair of beds in one room are troll-modded, along with the ceiling, door frame, and one of the bathrooms.

Nothing in the house is wireless, including the security system, and wireless signals don't penetrate the house. The only place you can get outside or inside is from the office, and that's on purpose.

The security system has your basic motion detectors, low-light, and visual cameras, as well as door locks and deadbolts on all the doors. Doors are reinforced, windows are reinforced.

Fridge is stocked with real food, although probably only enough for about a week with this crowd.

Anything we're missing?"

Clay Moor will park his motorcycle in the garage on the lower level. He give the garage and the area around it a close look taking in all the features and locations for same.

He will enter the house from the garage, he will be carrying several bags, some in hand, others across his back.

He will listen to what Bakatare says about the place, then give broad silver capped tuck grin.

"I will bunk in the troll adjusted bedroom, if no one minds." He will then proceed to the room, and place his bags on the non troll equipped bed/bunk, taking the lower bunk/bed.

He will make another trip back to his motorcycle to get the last of the bags, and bring them to his bunk in the room.

Once he has done that, he will go into the room with Bakatare.

"Do you mind if I look around the place a bit, I will be tapping on the walls and the doors."

Once he has done that, he will go back into his place in the room and unpack things into what there is for such, ie dresser/closet etc. As he is unpacking he has taken out a glob of clay like material, and kneads it in one hand then the other.

Dervish enters the house and greets Bakatare in English.
"Hoi Bakatare, nice place, out of the way, quiet, very good." He frowns as he spots Clay Moor exiting one of the rooms. He sets his bag down and greets the Ork " Hoi. It was Clay, neh? He watches the fellow tap on the walls for a moment. "I'll sleep anywhere so I'm fine" addressing Bakatare again.

What pray tell is that trog up to he wonders. "Are you looking for the main supporting wall? I believe that the west wall has the main load bearing beam. That reminds me, Bakatare do you have the blueprints to this house, I'd like to go over them sometime. " He addresses both men with the same quizzical look.

"Anyway, continue with your preparations. I'm going to check the exterior for entry points." He exits the house and begins making a slow circuit of the house checking for his favorite entry points on buildings. It's not that I don't trust Bakatare. I simply don't know his definition of physical security If he sees any one enter the house he nods at them as they enter.

Atreus swings by his apartment and picks up several changes of clothes and his jacket before heading out to the safe house. Once there, he parks next to the two bikes already there and heads inside immediately noticing the lack of wireless connection inside.

Hehehehe.... Ammon will have to get by on his own for a while.

Nine beds and seven team members. Should allow a good distribution of people if someone starts getting on someone else's nerves.

The wire-based security became just another reason for Atreus to respect Bakatare. He was torn by the wireless world; It was damn convenient and a dang annoying security risk at the same time. He might have a little fun with the motion detectors though....

"Real food? Oh, many blessings upon you and your descendants." He doesn't have any questions, but Atreus waits to see if anyone else does before finding a room.

Clay Moor will look up when Dervish enters.

"I am looking for places where explosives will work there best magic." A big silver tusked grin on his face.

"Please if you can do the outside then please check over where I have been." Clay will go back to his work at hand.

As he walks the perimeter Dervish tries to puzzle out what Clay meant about explosives. A trog with explosives, this could be interesting. *rolls eyes* I hope you know what you're doing Clay. Indeed I do.

Eyeing the domicile, after being discretely dropped off, the ork remarks jovially, "Now go we in content. To liberty, and not to banishment."As You Like It Act 1 Scene iii

Gregor held the door open for his companion, temporarily placing baggage aside, then following the lady in while toting some luggage.

In response to the greeting and greeting chaos attendent on a group gathering, he smiled, and asked, "Wards, circles of protections, guardian spirits?"

"And of course, the Lady will have a chamber to herself."

Ikari bows again upon seeing Bakatare when she enters and pauses to acknowledges Dervish with a small but sincere bow as well. "If no one minds I will take a room by myself but I intend to use the rest of the space for summoning and any ritual work that this favor may require." As she speaks a look of confusion passes over her face upon hearing and seeing the talk of explosives being set around the house.
