Standing abruptly and snapping his heels as he bows politely to all, "When you have formed your plans, I will engage my Talent on your behalf. Till then, I believe there is an excellent sherry on the shelf calling for me."

Atreus dips his eye-brows at the ork's reply, "That's about as open ended an offer to party from whore in the Barrens. Care to narrow down the menu a bit and save the drinking for later?"

The pompousness of the ork, and the the sherry, reminded Atreus of his uncle. That in turn soured his mood in a nanosecond. He probably was a little harsher with his new teammate than he would have been otherwise, but leaving things to chance or making assumptions is just the trick that forced him out of a rather comfortable lifestyle and onto the streets of Seattle in the first place.

After raising both eyebrows at the challenge, Gregor pats his hands around his waistcoat, then slowly pulls out a knife, "Well, I also have some skill with blades." with a look of concentration he awkwardly poses in a knife fighting stance while the knife blade slowly bends and wilts to one side. Noticing the wilted blade he frowns, "Oh dear. Perhaps I should stick with party tricks?".

Shifting his perceptions quickly to the astral to determine if the trick was an illusion or some form of an actual manipulation. "I'd call that an entree."

Ikari watches the personalties play out before speaking. "I possess a variety of skills one might find useful working in the shadows though there are those more skilled but what I lack in specialization I more than make up for in diversity. I have a close relationship with the kami who kindly grant me several gifts. I can beseech their aid, shape raw mana to my will and have use a portion of their blessings to enhance my own prowess in combat."

"What's that look for? If we can find a distributor that has what we need, we aren't going to wait weeks, just however long it takes us to storm inside and take it. Most of the weeks is just waiting for the right stuff to get to someone who won't ask questions.

"As soon as you fraggers find me the parts I'll be able to put it together, take me a couple of days to outfit all of you. Now I hear that Fairlight is working on some new pieces to send out to market. Kick in the door, steal everything that isn't nailed down and go. After that while I'm fixing your drek, the mojo-monkeys can go and steal whatever else."

Porter cycles through several more team members looking at their gear and assesing needs.

"I frag computers and keep the right people from getting fragged by them."

While Porter takes the various team members off and analyzes their com gear, Atreus takes a moment to step out and can Six Gun:

Atreus - Six Gun's voice is almost enough to make you think you have a bad connection, scratchy sound varying levels of volume, but you know that's just the old man's way of talking.

"What kinda gear ya' looking for?"

Porter - The orc looks up to address the group as he finishes perusing everyone's gear.

"Alright, so if we're looking for easy marks and to avoid alot of the entanglements that come with AAA corps and organized crime, there's a trade show being held in one of the theaters of the Omnidome downtown, on Pier 64. Lots of small businesses looking to make it ahead, with inventory for sales at the show. We're not looking for huge amounts, but we are looking for high quality, which is what they're bringing.

Best of all, most the companies won't have local ties and most of them are still fairly small."

[Redjack]

The sound of the old man takes Atreus back to a run through Hell's Kitchen escorting several crates of assault rifles to the Crime Mall.

Atreus - You can hear the old man spit on the other end of the commlink, and you can imagine the furrowed growl on the wrinkled face as the snarls into the commlink.

"Got over 250k in practically chromed high firepower I just moved into town, handed over to some Dissemblers in south Seattle. They paid me less then a quarter of what they owed, and threatened me when I wanted the rest. Took two fingers to put get their point across, cost me almost 10k to get them replaced.

I'd take it as a personal favor if you and your friends would deal with them, one way or t' other. Got pressure from some movers and shakers to make the deal in the first place, but this kinda of crap is just bad for business. You're welcome to keep whatever you find there."

Atreus held a special hatred for the stupidity of gang bangers. His particular gang of choice is the Ancients, but a gang mostly comprised of trolls with a reputation for trading in body parts who just screwed over one of his few trusted contacts sure rank pretty close. And having Six Gun owe him a personal favor was a motivator as well.

Dervish sits quietly taking in the information from Porter and the others.

The celénit makes a good point, out of towners and small timers might be easier to knock over

A diminuitive scaly horned reptilian eyed sharp toothed clawed creature manifests.

Gregor smiles as he envisions this apparition visiting Harriman in the midst of his services.

"Seek His Grace and in privacy convey my willingness to enforce collection, or retribution, for outstanding debts or sins as His Grace would see fit. In exchange for this service I ask for what Ceaser would have rendered unto him. There may be someone whose unfulfilled promised contributions can be collected without undue spiritual harm."

"Go."

It went.

If there was going to be some fleecing ofthe flock, Gregor was of a mind to see if it could be in good service.

A rosy cheeked black bat winged cherub in leather assless chaps and a studded halter fades into view.

With a bemused smile the ork instructs it, "Inform the Lady Cerulean that Sweetness will be 'working' the Omnidome Electronics Trade Show at Pier 64 and seeks her ladies special assistance in this regard."

"Go." Slapping itself once it fluttered off fading from view.

A six legged purple poodle with green spots manifests.

Gregor chuckles, "Ask Calico what he requires in exchange for a precis and analysis of the participants of the upcoming Omnidome Electronics Trade Show at Pier 64."

"Go." sniffing it prowls off and runs through a wall.

Addressing anyone around, "Anything else?"

Atreus ends the call with:

He moves silently into the house and waits for a moment to inject his information into a conversation. "Got a line on a large cache of high end weaponry where the recipients reneged on the terms of payment. Job sounds like high risk, high reward with a potential to provide us military grade weaponry. Are we interested?" He was hoping the team would be. It was always good to have people owing you favors.

"Devil's in the details."

The ork smiled convivially, "Shooting mad dogs in the street is a public service, stealing the tools the Metroplex Guard uses to protect the good citizens is a disservice."

Gregor continued in an easy tone, "Of course there are some tools that wouldn't be missed, or that shouldn't be given to barely shaving youngsters with no sense of morals."

[Redjack]

Atreus turns his attention to the ork. He is not the average runner. That is definitely becoming more apparent.

His demeanor remains calm and easy going as he provides more details. "These tools of the trade have fallen into the hands of one of the more vile gangs of the 'plex, the Disassemblers. They organ leggers; They deal in parts of the dead.. or soon to be dead. They will not roll over, but like most gangs their numbers give them a false sense of security and bravado."

[DireRadiant]

"Ah, warped devotees of the great Shelley. They've made monsters of themselves."

With a glance around and then focusing on Atreus, "If we do not undertake this quest as part of our current effort, I will most happily assist after we are done here."

As the ork continues to speak, Atreus continues to be intrigued. To Atreus things are always much more black and white than to his brother Ammon and these Disassemblers are definitely much more evil than the average criminals. He extends a hand to the ork, "I accept."

He then looks to the rest of the crew. Time to hear any other alternatives and start making plans.

"Just frag them all, let the religious hats sort it out later. Now stop worrying about other problems. We need to get that tech, now that i've looked at everyone's gear--I've found some problems that need to get sorted. That's going to take me awhile to do. So, get the tech and let me do my job. Then you can all frag the neighbor's dog or these Disa-frag heads."

What the hell is wrong with these people? I'm doing my job, just like Wolf told me, and they want to run all over Creation chasing tales of the next big gun. Frag 'em all as long as they keep their priorities straight and get the tech I need to make them competent, they can do whatever they want on their time.

"I have most of the firearms I need at this time. So unless the weapons being discussed have any explosives, my vote is for the Tech. As for the gang, death comes many ways to those little prepared for it." Big silver tusked smile.

"My contacts are doing some research. We should have answers and more options within the hour."

He listens to the conversation some more.

"I am making arrangements for myself to attend the Omnidome Electronics trade show, do any others of you wish to attend? And given my attendance, what specific needs and information do you wish me to look for, and of course, and special preparations you would like me to make? I'm afraid what I expect you require is quite out of my area, so you'll need to bear with me and explain carefully. Given the right questions, I can always find someone to answer them for me."

The ork smiled somewhat ruefully, "As our good friend Porter has no doubt made you all aware, I'm quite deficient in the electronics department."

[Meriss]

Dervish raises an eyebrow in the ork's direction.

"I suppose I should come with you to find entrances and exits, and Porter can guide both of us. Unless you can find blueprints for our after hours project, Porter?"

[Fenris]

Meriss - The text message style replies come tinkling back. From Max, probably an auto-reply that most regular customers or contacts get.

Ikari watches the small parade of exotic watcher spirits or at least that she thinks they were. "While Porter lacks certain...social graces I think his suggestion has some merit. We could acquire the tech goods I believe with little effort and allow him the time to make modifications to our gear while we deal with the gang and acquire more goods we can convert into nuyen."
