This is the OOC thread, all the dice rolls, game discussion, etc goes here.

I'll basically be posting here a general idea of what I want to cover each week. When I bump forward on Monday's, I'll be bumping to finish up whatever the theme of the week was.

June 18th - June 24th

Intro to each other and Bakatare, IC questions about the job (scope, etc), IC decision to take the job.

Feel free to post any questions you have about the character, his background, the club, the job, etc.

@Fenris: Dervish is carrying nothing but his cyber, commlink, spare AR glasses, earbuds, and an old datachip. He should have no trouble getting through the bouncers. His link is loaded with the Robert Burns ID and Licenses. IC post to that effect. Also what's the post guidelines, are we using colors to distiguish speech etc.?

@Fenris: Clay will surrender his weapons if asked/indicated by the two door persons.

He has a Predator in a shoulder holster, three airfoil grenades, two thermal smoke, and one flash bang. He also is carrying commercial explosives concealed in the panels on the front of his vest. The panels/explosives are removable via a velcro like material attaching them.

He has four extra clips for the predator, along the inside bottom edge of his jacket.

The plassteel clip inside his jacket that holds some paper money and the two halves of the torn 100 new yen note, also conceals two detonators, each in its own Faraday caged compartment.

Do we know we are meeting in the meeting room?

Do any of us know, or even want to know each other? :)

Unless there are some difficulties to overcome to get to the meeting room, I would like to post IC getting there and introducing Sweetness.

Wearz - They'll actually request that he give up everything except the Predator + clips. They know about the explosives in the panels, and will collect those as well. They don't seem to know about the detonators.

Meriss - Post guidelines are open. I tend to use printed novel style (i.e., quotes for talking, italics for thoughts, and some other color for a different language) but you're free to do whatever you like. I don't have a specific format. I just ask that you make it obvious what's what, and try not to use colors that are hard to read on the background.

@DireRadient: Whoa! You guys are putting me to shame here. I'm going to have to step my writing up a notch. It was so good I couldn't figure who you were.

@All: You've prolly heard of Dervish. Roll appropriate Knowledge skills if you want more info. Use this as a guide

What everyone knows:
1. Dervish? He's a pointy ain't he? I dunno, heard he was pretty good at the old in and out.
2. Heard he might be Awakened. Might explain why he can move like that.
3. He's got some serious skill with those snap blades of his, don't let the old "pointys are queer" fool yah
4. He drops out of the plex from time to time. No one knows where he goes, but when he gets back there's always a Winternight dead someplace.
5. Heard his real name is --- gack *Dervish steps from behind the contact* I believe you have enough information on me. *Dervish retracts his bloodied snap blade* (Not really, but Dervish has worked very hard to erase any trace of his actual ID)

Here is what Clay Moor appearance is.

Petre is an Ork of African-American descent; he is 6’5� height and 245 pounds in weight. He keeps his head shaved, his skin color is almost a deep purple color, and he has his tusks capped in silver. His head and facial areas are covered in an intricate tattoo, using bright metallic green, and brilliant purple inks. The detail work in the tattooing is very intensive and finely worked.

He is dressed in a jacket and slacks but look like they were bought off the rack. Colors are business types of colors, grays, and blacks. Jacket is obviously armored. He is wearing boots that have a flat polish sheen to them, ie not much reflections off the toes.

@Dervish unless Dervish hangs out in the Ork Underground, chances are slim that Clay Moor will know of him.

@Wearz: Dervish is good, he's not suicidal. ;) How did Clay end up working with Bakatare?

On one of the runs deep with in the Ork Underground, Petre and his fellow runners met up against something magical that they had not met before. Petre and is fellow runners were getting there hoop kicked badly; at the point where they were almost all killed by the magical creature, an immaculately dressed oriental human appeared, with a staff. The oriental man lifted his staff and made some magical mumbo jumbo words and the thing that Petre and his team had been fighting stopped just before killing them. The thing and sharply dressed human stared for a bit, then the human made gesture with a low command, and the area was filling with elementals of various types. The elementals went into various attacks upon the creature, while the dressed human chanted some words that seemed to ring the room they were in. Once the human completed the chanting of his words the magical creature, froze in place, and then gave unearthly scream that echoed the room, then in flash of many colors, disappeared. The human came over to the near death wounded runner team, and use again magical mumbo jumbo and healed them to the point where they could stand and move. Once recovered Petre thanked the oriental human, the human smiled and gave his name as Bakatare. Petre had heard of a runner by that name, whose rep was very good. Petre greeted Bakatare and gave his name of Clay Moor and that he owed Bakatare his life, and would repay Bakatare for the work he had dune for Petre that night. Bakatare smiled and said one day he would collect that debt of Petre life and of his teams. Petre nodded his head, and said “Yes I will be there when you call.� Petre took a 100 new yen bill and tore it in half, gave one half to Bakatare and kept the other half. He told Bakatare that when needed him, to send the half 100 new yen note, and he would come quickly. Bakatare then dusted himself off and walked into the darkness of the Ork Underground.

Dervish is a 20 some thing elf with neatly cut blond hair. Currently he is in Living dress, A black tee, black khakis and and low top sneakers. No obviuos cyber or jewelry. He will remain quiet unless spoken to directly.

@Fenris: One prob chummer. Dervish has no Japanese. :D He learned a single Japanese greeting to be polite to Asian Johnsons and thats it. He does get the gist thou since Bakatare used his name.

@Bishop recording all traffic?I see this room as being very busy wireless wise.

All of the drink containers have RFID's, the room is monitoring those, ie to keep track of beverages consumed and if the beverages are not in the bar location, then what location the beverages are in.

There are the many wireless sensors reporting temp, humidity, etc back to a mode that can then adjusts same.

Is there a way to tell via the matrix scan what is a comm link or a RFID communication with the beverage tracking system?

Also FYI there is only one table I believe in this room.
