As the name of the thread says, I'm looking for players who want to try some online Shadowrun. The game will be running on Monday nights, from 7 PM Eastern Standard Time until late, which basically means until too many people have to go to bed.

Character building rules are the standard default for SR4, you know the drill; 400 points, no more than half on yadda yadda. The normal routine.

All beginning character sheets must be in a unified format, so please use the character generator located here. (French website; English program). Unfortunately, I lack a program capable of reading Microsoft Excel files, let alone actually using the macro-laden spreadsheet character creators.

The campaign will be set in 2070, nothing from Emergence will be taken into account at the start of the game. (It is also unlikely that it will be taken into consideration later, but everything is possible).

It should be noted that intraparty conflict, backstabbers, betrayers, sell-outs, and any other kind of thing which results in player versus player activity, is strictly forbidden. As a DM I don't want to deal with it.

Also, lone wolf personalities will not be tolerated; neither will characters who are amoral scumbags or unpredictable psychopaths. Just because you're a criminal dosen't mean you have to be a bad person.

The finalized group (those who have delivered character sheets) currently consists of a Bunkered Rigger and a Technomancer, with a stealth/infiltration specialist of indeterminate stripe and some kind of combatant being considered.

The game desperately needs a magician of some sort. Other than that, it's a pretty open field.

Preferred method of contact is via AIM, my screen name is ShadowDragon8685. Of course, you're welcome - indeed, more than welcome - to post on this thread as wellm if only so I can keep track of who's who.

[edit]House rules:

So far, there's only one.
Alcohol is officially on the list of "things not worth points as an Addiction". If you want to take an Addiction flaw, it must be one of the narcotic substances listed in the core rule-book.

[edit2]

Everyone starts with a free contact.
Miss Marble is a socialite fixer who comes from a fairly nice Belvue background - she specializes in connecting people with the people they need to be connected with, for a nominal fee. Not much of a criminal in her own right, but she knows how the biz works, and she works it well. She's fairly well-known around seattle and the greater northwest - to put it this way, she's in a lot of people's rolodexes, or at least their electronic equavilent thereof. (In case you're wondering, she lost her SIN in the Crash and never bothered to get another one, since she liked the anonymity that being SINless brought, while still being able to retain control of all her material assets.)

She starts at Connection 4 and Loyalty 1 for free - additional loyalty may be bought as per usual, but her Connection rating cannot be raised.
