If anything, I think stuff like this should be done more often.

Added some more topics to the blog. Once again, if you have an article you'd like to contribute, PM me.

It's really looking great, there's so many people posting, and I'm trying to figure out what each of their personalities are! It's continuing to be fun.

You have to allow cookies for that function to function.

If you have a decent web browser like Mozilla you should be able to allow cookies specifically for that site.

Was just thinking about something guys.

Is it okay, if I add your character names and descriptions in the GM/Sourcebook blog? Let me know.

I assume that it's probably okay, but I don't want to step on any toes.

All your chars are looking great in the GM edition of blogspot, I'm enjoying reading all your posts, you guys are really creative, makes my articles and newspots that much more fun to write.

We've been looking at the stats on the site, and there's more people reading this than just you guys as posters, we're starting to develop a substantial following, which is kinda crazy cause we started doing this just for ourselves. We know people are reading and enjoying it cause the average stay on the site is over four minutes.

It's super fun to have you DS guys become part of this little extension of Seattle's Shadows, everyday I look for more posts, and they're always good.

Posted as "Old Man" the trix handle for one of my old SR2 characters. He would be about 70 now and is a semi-retired professional sniper.

I'm posting as three (so far) people: The_O'RLY_Factor, Jill_on_The_Hill and mirrage.

The Factor, there, is just a right-wing nut-job, basically. He'll pick fights with anyone at the drop of a hat and resort to name calling quickly. He's the kind of person that smart people wish didn't agree with them because he makes their point less tenable. I hope no one gets offended by his actions. It's all IC, I promise and he's supposed to be dumb, petty and mean.

My idea for Jill was that she is a fairly well-connected woman working in Washington, DC (The Hill, yes?), but then it occurred to me that I'm not sure DC is the capitol of the UCAS, so, anyway, she's a rumor monger.

Mirrage is an old decker who, I suppose, is retired and just wants to play games on the Matrix these days and do a little recreational coding and hacking. He's laid back and likes to contribute to open source projects, etc. He's an old PC of mine from back in the day.

I have joined up in the shadowspeak as well, although only one entry so far. The handle is Trigger as well, he is an old PC of mine. An elf hermetic with a twitchy trigger finger and a love of flashy mojo, he's generally brash and outspoken (being an ex-Ancient and all).

I've used Kilroy (a 29yro human mage/thauamaturgical researcher) and TuskerDhu (Orc drone rigger. He can seem like a pedophile online but when you realize he's only 15yro and hit puberty at age 6, it becomes less creepy and more sad. Poor guy's almost ready for a mid-life crisis.)

I should note here that I've sorta lost track as to who's listed on the GM portion of the BBS, so if you don't see yourself up there and want to put a spoiler/blurb/background of your character up, PM edrift101 or myself and we'll getcha added in there! Obviously if you're going to go to all the work of posting and reading and participating (which we greatly appreciate, some of you have really put some amazing stuff up) we want to make it known.

I'm posting as Scope.

She's a cleaner with known connections to the Gianelli family. Total vat-job with almost no moral compunctions, but she's got a philosophic bent and is prone to quoting Nietzsche, Shakespeare, Dickens, and Marx. She only has two rules: the job gets done, and everybody goes home. She's a sniper and apparently served as a military or security officer at some point. Occasionally posters refer to her as 'Captain' or 'Major' online.

Feel free to use her as an NPC (she is my favorite character). I can PM a more extensive bio if you want.

QUOTE (edrift101 @ Jul 6 2007, 08:57 PM)
As part of my campaign, I've set up a "news" site where my current players can make comments (in character) about events, advertisements, and the like...

Great, my productivity at work just took a big hit. I hope they don't wonder what I'm doing on a site that sells troll underwear. :(

I'll be commenting as Cinder a mage/decker.(I'll post more on Cinder for people's opinions latter. Lets just say that is he is one of 100K people who had a very bad day around Chrismas 10 years ago.) :cyber:
