Does anyone want to try to work out some reasonable prices for these things with me? I figure the price for the basic 'unit' (line, joint, needlefull, whatever) would be the most important price.

I have no knowledge of real-world drug prices to compare them too, but I can imagine the combat drugs would run 200-300 a dose, simply because they aren't recreational, they're performance enhancers. As for Novacoke, or even BTLs, your guess is probably better than mine.

BTLs are in the gear section of the main book.

for the rest of them, try a search. this question comes up fairly often.

If you still have any Third Edition stuff, Man & Machine had street drug prices.

Standard street drugs, if they're still around and competing with superior BTLs, have to be cheaper. Thus 10-100¥ per dose is reasonable; any that give any type of minor bonus would be at the higher end while those don't would be at the cheaper end.

Combat drugs are completely different. They'd be cheaper than the various options in Augmentation. Just find one that gives similar bonuses (either for ones you're cooking up or ones that have been published) and cut the price in half (or way moreso if the one in Augmentation has a long term effect).

Unless their use becomes the norm, it's not really worth sitting down and coming up with exact rules about them. Especially for the minor stuff. If you're using them for story purposes, "a suitcase loaded with 100,000¥ in Novacoke" works great. You don't have to get much more detailed than that. Wing it and go with what sounds good in the context of the story.
