1) Yes. More epic, not a straight forward run... <G>
2) Ride: For Ditch this means a reinforced frame, with a blue-printed electric methane hybrid engine. The chassis is currently from a '65 Nissan mini-van, armored and equipped with photo-dynamic nano-paints. The control system is SOTA six months ago and the security system was de-activated so that Billy could make the engine modifications. |

Yea. See my last post for a little more detail on that. Feel free to embellish or take creative liberties.

@Redjack
Initiative score: 11d6 -> [6,2,6,1,6,2,3,6,2,6,2] = (42) Link Sledge intends to keep an eye on the gangers until they attack or are close enough to engage in combat. If they attack, counter with dodge. If Sledge is able to engage - Attempt to interfere with other driver – grab controls, kick, etc., - in order to cause him/her to crash. (and if I’m real lucky, maybe that will take out some others!) What rolls would you like? |

@Fisty
I'm giving you surprise. They were not expecting the immediate escalation. It appears you can buy quick-draw(2) [Automatics(4)+Reaction(4+2) successes, so roll your attack: Automatics (4) + Agility(6) + Smartlink(2) + ReflexRecorder(1) + Attacker in Moving Vehicle(-3) + Attacker Distracted(-2) + Target has partial cover(-2) + Attacker firing from cover(-1) = dp5 Both of you have partial cover from traffic. Edit: I reread your post. 3,3,5,4,2, Machine pistols use automatics, not the pistols skill. I would remove the Attacker Distracted(-2) but I do feel I need to clarify command of the bike through his rig, using the gyros. You cannot jump into the bike AND fire. You could issue a command to the bike via your com, but you have no command program. So you end up with only 1 net hit, but with the leader being surprised he does not get to counter only resist. You still need to roll an initiative. Their init is 8. Edit #2 I gave this some more thought and found it silly that you could not just activate the autopilot without a command program. So I am going to allow that, just realize that without a command program you have only a basic interface to the pilot program. [Turn on/off. Drive to location XYZ. etc] 3,3,5,4,2,6,6, |

that was intentional. He's not wearing his jacket. He ususally doesn't even think about the helmet. No worries :)
Ah, sorry about the weapons mistake. My fault. As for the auto though, I wasn't trying to jump in, just command the autopilot. I shouldn't need a command pilot for that though. Autopilto is standard on all vehicles. I even tried buying up an OS to upgrade the bike's systems a bit if you'll recall. I didn't buy an upgraded Pilot program though. It's not doing anything fancy ATM. just driving without crashing. |

@Fisty - Sledge's query was meant as 'why are they after you, do you owe them money?' - feeble attempt at humor.

I see that there have been no karma, nor CSP awards in this game beyond the one bonus for a good post. So at this point take your first karma and a CSP for each of the 3 scenes. Take a bonus karma for a creative solution with Ice. While things won't turn out as goo as you'd like, they will be MUCH better than they would have been otherwise... ;)

So that's 2 karma and 3 CSP yes?
I like to change things up a bit form the norm. I thought about trying to find a way to disable him so that he couldn't call ahead, but there were some problems with that. First, I'd probably have to put him unconcious, and the hackers inside might have taken serious offense to that. No way of knowing how many friends he had there. Second, he might have woken up later and been madder, meaning I'd have to kill him instead. That's pretty extreme for his role in things. SO I decided to pay him off, but kept it low so that it wouldn't seem like it was overly important. Having low funds might[/i[ have had a thing or two to do with it anyways. Lastly, if he [i]does call ahead, Vic will see a pissed off runner coming his way, but one that was willing to deal with one person who worked gainst him already. SO if he does get a call, he may be defensive, but not necessarily shoot on sight. That's my train of thought. |

Correct. As to your logic, all good. As I said, your choices for dealing with Ice were great. You'll see the good and the bad from the interaction soon, but the net results are definitely better than most other possible outcomes. ;) |
