Its easier that writing each down individually. He's an NPC.

No, but we'll definitely need rules for the Sword of F-ing Omens!

What we really need are rules for Ro-Bear Burbils and Drop Ro-Bear Burbils.

Bravo, hyzmarca, bravo.
Mumm-Ra, the ancient spirits of evil, even Ma-Mutt. Truly a thing of hideous beauty. And then, as icing on the cake, you add Drop Ro-Bear Burbils.
I've been going back and watching old Thundercats episodes lately, too. They're so very bad, and yet, so great.

Well...

Let's see... Powers...

-Weapon Focus

-Anchoring / sustaining of Detect Danger spell on each Thundercat

-Some sort of anchoring / sustaining focus for Clairvoyance

-Some sort of anchoring / sustaining focus for an Illusion / Projection spell that tells each T-Cat where it's being activated from.

-Some sort of anchoring / sustaining focus that supports a spell that alters the length of the sword upon command which would have the effect of granting variable reach.

-Some sort of power that allows for the sword to be summoned to its rightful owner.

-Some sort of power / spirit that grants some level of intellect to the sword as the cartoon showed it acting of its own accord on occasion.

That's all I have come up with so far... anyone else want to add stuff to it?

Inhabited Guidance Spirit/Ally Spirit. Could be used to 'save' on using stacked foci for most of the other powers as well.

Good point. I hadn't thought of that. A guidance spirit inhabiting the sword would be thematically appropriate given the sword's nature in the show.

How would it work though given that some of the sword's powers required two users? I recall seeing an episode where the ghostly T-Cat (whose name escapes me) and Lion-o's father were both holding the hilt to empower the sword to do stuff.

Does it bother anyone that we could very well have a Star Wars Jedi - Thundercats crossover... in the very same game? :spin:

Geasa limitations.

And nope, it doesn't bother me at all. That's one of the grooviest things about Shadowrun (both mechanically and as far as the game world goes). It's open to just about any kind of concept you can cook up. Sure, you might be considered a kook by everyone else, but that doesn't mean much considering how common kooks are in the shadows.

True enough. I remember some fluff in SR3 where people were talking about all the wierd magical traditions that were popping up based on some of the strangest things like TV shows, movies, etc and not just conventional old-time myth/legend.

One of the runners was poo-pooing it saying it was a bunch of drek and one responded with something to the effect of "If you are on the receiving end of that Powerball spell, does it really matter what the mage's tradition is?"

It is interesting to see that we can make such things as Jedi, Thundercats, and more with the rules. In fact, it'd be quite easy to do up the Silverhawks (a bigger case for heavy cyber I've not seen outside of Terminator).

Hell, Green Lantern could be easily done up. For that matter, pretty much any comic book hero could be made.

Hmm....
