A random bit of silliness.
Many many years ago, back when I was maybe 15 years old, there'd been some D&D porn fics on the internet written by some guy called PJ or JP or something. Anyway, I remember in one of his scenes the female elf mage is being attacked by ghouls who paralyze her, and my first reaction was "ELVES ARE IMMUNE TO GHOUL PARALYSIS!!!" which makes me awesome. So, since this is a porn fic, the ghouls are all sexual, and one of them takes a bite out of the elf's leg. At that point, the elf mage's friend who is a human fighter runs around the corner, goes "NOBODY EATS HER BUT ME!" and chops up all the ghouls. It's a silly line in a silly setting, but so many years later, after the original stories have long since disappeared, I still remember it. Even though it's so stupid, whenever I quote that line in the context of the story people I tell it to always can't help but let forth a chuckle. It's like you know that it shouldn't be funny, and yet it is, on some guilty level. |
