Now they only have to convert the signals into a visual image and/or a HUD display and we have Motion Sensor.

I would actually call it "Rangefinder sight" as it doesn't use ultrasound.

Would probably be even better than ultrasound as the "ping" is removed and you cannot use passive sonar to pick it up.

It reminds me of the IR detector bioware, the one based on snake senses, only it works on laser tripwires, not heat sensing.

I would model the game effects the same way.

It's more like a radar system that maps out objects and obstacles like ultrasound but in a 360 arc.
