I've started running SR Missions as a way to start playing SR4. I've played the previous three versions, scattered over many years. Thus, I've forgotten most everything.

After running my first game I realized the game would be more fun if I interjected with fun flavor stuff from the wacky future. For example, if they arrive for a meet, I might describe the person waiting as drinking soykaff and festing on a plate of synth-krill. Or the joint might have a Ludivenko Lovely Soya-Sloppy machine with the "double-thick" option.

What is the best way to pick up on these sorts of fun flavor bits? (Not just food).

Is the SSG what I need? Or are there any fan-written guides?

Thanks,

Teos

Your limit is really only your imagination, but try not to come up with it on the fly. Write some stuff down whenever you can, who knows? The next run might be to sabotage a batch? Everything that eaten for the most part is bioengineered out of soy, krill, lupine, etc... And if not only food, having source books for magical trinkets and augmentations always help. Worth the money.
