I only picked titles which I currently own, and which I consider the "best" of my collection in terms of cover art. Feel free to add books which are not on this list, or books which you think have great interior art as well.

The cover of the SR1 (and SR2) core rule book is definitely my favorite.

That's 'cause you get it an reminisce about "the good ol' days" when me were cyber men razor boys and women had pink mohawks.

I really liked the look of Shadows of Europe. Although I have to say that SoNA is the only game book cover I've ever looked at and immediately had an idea for an entire campaign.

Hell, I don't have even one copy of the pic any more :(

I wouldn't mind having a decent copy as Wallpaper though.

Queen Euphoria, Runner Havens, SoNA, Sprawl Sites, Underworld Sourcebook... Many good covers (for me, this is highly subjective) are missing from that list, but then it'd be too difficult to choose ;)

Thumbnail of all the covers over here. Click on the cover for a larger image.

I think I'd vote for the core book and probably the 2E core over the 1E core. It's what attracted me to the game. I also like the back of the 4E GM's screen.

The first and second edition cover art was identical. Same picture, same artist.

No, actually—the picture was identical, but the presentation was different, and I agree with him that the black background worked better than the blue one.

Yeah I know. That is why I specifically mentioned 'same picture same artist'. I agree that the black was better, but when I think of 'cover art', I think of the actual picture, if any. If there is none, or if the picture is not the main focus, then I consider the other aspects.

Yep I understand and agree. Since this was a poll on book covers, I was selecting a specific book of the two. Both are the same as far as the art but my preference is for the 2E cover because of the overall package :)

SR1 Cover
SR1 Sprawl Sites
SR2 Cover
SR2 Awakenings: New Magic in 2057
SR3 First Run

The SR1/2 Cover, Sprawl Sites, and Awakenings just put my brain into "must play" SR Now mindset.

I like the First Run cover because I find it funny, and something that my group would do. While the rest of the team walks right on by the Security Guard the every present elven female ninja stripper would turn, look at him, and go "Shhh!"

After looking at the link to the pics of all the covers (I only own 2 myself) I have to say the following really cought my attention:
Magic in the Shadows
Mr Johnsons Little Black Book
Shadowrun Companion (3rd)
Shadows of Europe
SOTA: 2063
Survival of the Fittest

the picture the site had for Year of the Comet was kinda low quality but from what I could tell it had engaging composition.

Maybe this'll help. This is a listing of all my covers. The covers are clickable (might be easier and faster since it's not as busy as rpg.net).

Shadows of Europe, maybe just because it features a corporate logo I designed, lost in the middle of the picture

Fields of Fire, for me
I have loved that cover ever since the first time I saw it, at a con. Even today I want to get a copy even though I really have no need for it.

followed by the SR1 & 2 covers
both show what Shadowrun is about, a team doing Biz. They are also two distinct styles of Biz.
