How much would the following body fetch in you campange? Elven street sammie. Wired one. Hand razors. In good health except for the missing head.

Thanks

Thanos

Less than 500 :nuyen: in our campaign. We'd rule that the Wired Reflexes, which run throughout the body, are missing too many critical pieces to be salvaged for reuse. The razors can be salvaged, but whoever does the cutting gets a bigger piece of the resale value than the guy who drags it in. If you support any local ghouls, get the rest of the meat over there quickly.

For a relatively recent corpse, sans modifications, the last official price I saw was 500 :nuyen:

Personally, I never let my runners get more than 50% of the street price of Used Cyberware when selling it.

Now let me ask you a question, Thanos. When you drove in here, did you notice a sign out in front that said, "Dead gunbunny storage"? You know why you didn't see that sign? 'Cause storin' dead gunbunnies ain't my f**kin' business!

If the group cuts up the corpse themselves, I let them sell the organs for 25%-50% of the price of the individual organ(SR3, page findityourself)

Razors get 50% of the value.

And then 1 nuyen/kilo to ghouls for the leftover stuff.

Keep in mind, any bodyware like skillwires, wired reflexes ect is now worth ZERO, because there is a cranial brain/nervious system interface that you just destroyed by beheading the corpse.

Beyond that, used cyberware sells for half the cost of normal ware, so lop off half the price of any ware you can still sell. Then standard fenceing price is 20% of that... so all in all you get 10% of the listed price of ware, with no street index, but you can attempt to negotiate your way up increasing it by 5% of your current amount per success IIRC.

As for the organs themselves, they are not likely to fetch too much money, as organs need to be harvesed within a very small timeframe to be usable.

This should also trash your street rep, as organ harvesting is frowned upon, see Tanamous for reference.

Bah, if they're doin' the harvesting themselves, they need to make a biotech roll to not destroy it (or a Cybertech B/R roll, since that'd tell 'em what parts to scrape off and how).

1 :nuyen: per kilo?

I'd say 10 :nuyen: , at the very least.

And not all ghouls are mindless, flesh-hungry zombies willing to kill anything with a pulse. Many, many, many of them are quite sane and fully cognizant, and I'm sure there's a fraction (and not a small fraction either) who would much rather pay for flesh than commit murder themselves.

Statistically, the vast majority of zombies are of the "mindless, flesh-hungry zombies willing to kill anything with a pulse" variety.

give it to the ghouls, they dispose of the body, leave no evidence, and it earns you favors.

Ghouls aren't high on my list of 'people I want owing me a favour'.

Although I have to admit, ghouls are a very effective way of getting rid of a body.

Although it makes me wonder. Would DNA capable of surviving a ghouls digestive system?

I now realize what jobs the people who piss off their superiors in Lone Star and the FBI get.
