SS = Single Shot. Only takes 1 Simple Action to fire one shot, but only 1 shot per action phase is allowed, even though you have another Simple Action coming to you.
SA = Semi Automatic. Takes 1 Simple Action to fire, may be fired twice per action phase. Second shot that action phase has a +1 recoil mod on it. BF = Burst Fire. One burst is a simple action as under SA but with a bit more recoil. FA = Full Auto. One full auto burst is a simple action, as under SA but with a lot more recoil. See Combat section, pages 142-144 of the BBB for more. |
