We were talking amongst the admin over on Shadowrun Denver this morning, and the question of what happens to Spell Formulae when you use them to learn a spell came up. When you learn a spell from a formula, is it consumed as it would be a scroll in D&D, or is it still usable?

It's still usable. I think there is a situation where a formula is used up during an operation, but I think that's a spirit formula ( i.e. a true name of either an ally or free spirit) rather than a spell formula (which is basically a complex set of how-to directions), and frankly I forget the exact thing that's in reference to. Maybe binding a free spirit? I'm not sure.
