You posted too greedily and too deep! Fortune's Bane was loosed, and the great thread laid low!

Nah, it's okay. We just need Aero, our mage, to wave a stick around and shout "Yoooooou! Shall not! Pass," and everything will be fine again.
Or, failing that, he could just post something else IC. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) |

I almost feel bad for writing Callidus' silence into my IC post, and then using it as an excuse to suspect Aero of treachery. Almost! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

It figures we've got a dead-ass day here on DS, during a shift where thunderstorms at a nearby facility are delaying/rerouting flights and our whole work night is on a +1 hour delay (meaning a solid hour of dead time, twiddling my thumbs on the clock with nothing to do while I wait for the weather to clear up).
Booooored, bored, bored, bored, bored. |

Hey I dunno if this is a good place to post or not but I've been playing shadowrun for about 4 years now, love 4th edition, and have been looking for a good PBP site to play at. I especially love the Seattle setting, and the interaction between all of the different sectors/gangs/corporations in seattle.
My question to you folks is, how would the Ancients feel about adopting a pet wizkid? I have a character concept ready to go with a history and everything, I just need somewhere to play hehe. The concept I have is a 10 yr old Tir Tairngire noble runaway, I was just thinking hey, that would mesh perfectly with the Ancients ^_^. If not, I could always re-create my speedfreak elven adept named "Twitch" heh. Anyways, if you guys are interested in adopting a new player, either PM me or email me: dizmang@gmail.com I look forward to hearing from you! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/twirl.gif) |

Welcome to Dumpshock.
I really should let the Lacy Fisted One answer your questions about joining the game. I mean, he is the GM and all, so he should actually do something once in a while. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

Welcome to the crazy house. If Fisty does decide to let you into the game, it might not be right now. Things are kind of tense at the moment, and though we've "cut to commercial" in the last day or so, a ten year old kid popping up outta nowhere might not flow into the current scene real smoothly. Yup. SR4. We were also pretty heavily house-ruled for character creation (along with getting a bucketload of karma), but I'm too lazy to go find the recruiting/creation thread right now.

Despite what I said in my last post, I don't want you to get your hopes too high. There were a number of people that wanted to join up, but I am pretty sure that Fistolicious is keen on keeping the game a small and rather intimate affair.
But don't let that dissuade you from trying to join another game here on Dumpshock, or even starting up one of your own. There are always people keen to play here. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Well, I'd be a regular player, if that helps ^_^ I can certainly understand the desire to keep a small tight-knit game going though. I think I'm going to hit the sack finally... its 3:37 already haha. Anyways, if you're interested Oh Fisty One heres my character

Sorry crew, after the Post That Almost Was, I just couldn't get to posting yeterday. Then I woke up to Spring cleaning today. Ugh.
Green Lucifer - Yes, Green has always been a mage, he just tends to keep it low key. I hate how easy it is to spot spellcasting in 4th. Anyway, yeah feel free to read Elven Fire. I love that run anyway. Just keep in mind the diff between IC and OOC knowledge. I'll get to work on getting that pot back together, but it's going to take me a while. Fortune, don't sweat the post it's all good. Callidus, better get ome more posting in before Fortune yell "Witch!" though. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Havok: At the moment I'm not looking to add anyone. That isn't to say that I can't be convinced, but a Fortune said, I had wanted to keep this a small game. 5+ can get pretty hectic. Also, a 10 year old just wouldn't fly in this game. That's not to say that it couldn't work in an Ancients game, just not this one. I can go into that more later, but I need to see to this post to keep this game rolling. Sorry for the loss in momentum guys. Hopefully the reincarnated post will be enough to compensate. |
