Oh, and not that anyone cares, but I'm pretty sure I did really well on my test. Now I need sleep and to do a lab report. I hate school sometimes.
Chris PS: I also hate pollen, I suddenly developed an allergy to pollen about a year ago and it SUCKS! |

Posted! Oh, and no offense to Aero, that is just how Haven thinks. Oh, and ALSO I had no idea what color to put a text message in so I just threw it up in something that didn't hurt my eyes and will change it when I find out what is right.

Should have been Claymore. Then we'd have seen some real jousting! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

For the record, just don't forget Tain's commlink is in his jacket right now, and he's what you might call "away from his phone" at the moment. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Just be glad Tain didn't pull this crap in L.A. Just think of all the P.2 messages flooding his inbox if that were the case. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Huh, well, if he doesn't notice it, I will just have to swoop in if I see someone trying to heal him I guess.
I think I average like 8 or 9 hits on FA without edge so.... I can heal people like a crazy bitch. I forget exactly what my DP is, and I'm posting from school right now so I don't have the char sheet. *shrug* First Aid is important. Chris |

Heh, after reading your post Fortune, my question becomes did YOU expect Tain to fail or just Claymore?

Hehe no worries DT *8-> At the mo.... and probably most times you'll be better FA than Aero.... the wounds are crimping my sytle.... if I had any *8-> To be honest Aero's fine with uninjured people FA'ing Tain rather than him.... Well assuming he knows they're not in Vixen's camp or really crap at it, and he'll dump magical healing in afterwards (like I should have done on myself.... Ah good ol' 20/20 hindsight *8->.
[edit]Oh if it's not clear at the mo he's only going to extent of wounds and whether Tain's okay to get back to the squat rather than start patching him here.... well unless Tain wants him too, but sounds like we'd know Haven is a Doc Wagon class paramedic *8->[/edit] |

Yeah, being highly logic focused with a Medical Shop at my doss gives me something like 24 or 26 dice. Let me look.... provided I am using my shop at home and I have no penalties, then yeah, I toss down 26 dice in FA. 24 outside my shop, 21 if it is actually in the middle of combat(silly neocortical boosters not working in situations like that). FA, B/R, driving, and longarms are kind of Haven's thing.
Chris Yeah, it is common knowledge that if you need patching up you can swing by Farhaven and he'll make some time for you and fix you straight out. So, I would assume you guys know he's good at it. |

Almost forgot my attribute boost damage resistance (again): 4 hits, so I'm fine.

I'm about to roll FA on Tain, I'm assuming -2 because he is a mage(or adept or something... mystic adept maybe?) and a -1 for conditions because no matter how clean Haven keeps things it still isn't a hospital. I don't know if Tain has enough(or any) tech to qualify for a negative from that, if so we can just take dice off the back end.

Claymore will be helping with the first aid (teamwork test rules, I assume) ... and keeping a close eye on Haven. Try and stop him. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Well, there is a modifier for "skilled assistant" which is +1. I'll wait to add it to my rolls in case Fist hits me with another penalty of some kind. Also, Haven will mostly be ignoring you while he zones out and FA's the crap out of Tain. Mainly because I don't want to revise that massive freaking post.

Shrug.
I would really prefer it if you would post in slightly smaller chunks though. I was hoping to be able to step in and do stuff (like confront Haven) before we all left the freeway (while Sting was still around to vouch for him), but was left no choice. Now you have posted a huge chunk, when in the mood Claymore is in, he would have made sure to let you know his feelings on the matter. After all, he is skilled enough as well (though maybe not as skilled as Haven) to use all Haven's stuff himself. |

I will take that under advisement. This is the first PbP I've ever played that has lasted more than like 10 minutes, so I guess when it went down for awhile and came back up I got a little excited and went overboard. If you want, I can copy the actual FA and leave off at when we arrive at the garage. Fist did the post about the driving and then Tain about arriving so I just went from there. I can take a step back and then edit what I have to respond to you.
Just because I'm excitable doesn't mean I won't work with you, Fortune. Chris |

Oh, and the reason I went ahead and indicated leading folks to the garage is that Tain was bleeding to death. In these circumstances, Haven's overprotective instincts take over and he is going to try and fix him by the quickest and most effective means possible. It never occured to be you might have wanted to confront me in front of Sting. Honestly, I just kind of assume you are omnipresent and so if I see a post and it is more than like 10 minutes old I assume you have read it and are responding already if you have something to say.

I'm not complaining about your actions. Merely that you are taking two or three steps at a time, giving us little choice but to tag along after you like little puppies. I also did not ask you to edit your IC post to remove anything, and really would rather that you hadn't done so. I was only trying to get you to slow down in the future.
Now I guess I'm an asshole ... yet again! Oh well ... |

Time zones ain't no excuse! I live in Oz, and Fist-O'-Nine-Tails lives on the west coast of the States. You have to be somewhere between the two. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I didn't intend to portay you as an asshole, I was just trying to be nice and since I was the last poster, rolling things back for a moment wasn't a problem. I can put Claymore into the FA thing easily enough now that I've had some sleep. I was just tired by the prospect earlier as I had had 3 labs, 2 tests, and about 14 hours sleep in the past 5 days till I collapsed after editing. You had a good point, I just tend to be verbose and a little controlling and I was excited that something had happened that I could actually you know... do something with. So, I rolled it back and let it slow down a bit and I can add in the FA part after everyone else gets a chance. Again, I'm sorry about leaving the freeway when I did, that was just what I felt Haven would do in that situation. He's very direct and so when asked if he had a place he said "Yes, this way" because he had been wanting to go there anyway to patch Tain up so jumped on the opportunity.
Anyway, I'm sorry if I've been stepping on peoples toes, I'll tone it down in the future. I didn't feel like I was taking multiple steps when I did what I was doing, but I can see how it felt that way to everyone else. Like I said, first real PbP game here so the format and necessary changes are taking me a bit. Sorry, Chris |
