You saying that prompted me to re-read my description of Haven and I realized that apparently it is divergent from the image in my head. IE. A poor description. The main difference is that I've given him a more broad shouldered and thick chested. Not really elf-like in build at all other than the tall.

Slide's been pretty solidly in Green Lucifer's camp for years, even wearing the green 'A' prominently (Sting loyalists tend to wear their 'A' red, other factions wearing different colors. Black notates intended neutrality. 'Course, some times people just like the color, so it's not a hard and fast rule). Although known to side with him, she's got enough standing on her own to not be a raving fan girl either. She leads groups of Ancients out on the hunt, more proactive than protection groups.

Slide is a member of the Ebonverts, a magical group within the Ancients, primarliy consisting of martial-minded adepts. She's high up in the small group, having seniority and ability on her side. This distinction is a big part of what gives her the leeway she gets, being able to skirt the fence between camps a bit, although she tends towards Lucifer's side.

Slide's an aid goblin hater, hating trolls and orks pretty evenly. She's known for joyrides against the Spikes, the Meat Junkies, the Black Spears, and just about every other trog gang out there. She doesn't collect trophies like some (Claymore;)), but rather dispassionately guns down any that she comes across when able. This indifferent slaughter is part of what drives a wedge between her and Lucifer, who prefers more tactful and tought out responses to activity from rival gangs like the Spikes. They tend to see eye to eye on just about everything else however.

Slide and Vixen have had a quiet rivalry for some time. Simply put, Slide hates Vixen's style and approach, being a much more straight forward individual. She bet on Tain, and probably made out like a bandit tonight.

The Ebonverts are a group within the Ancients known as serious hoop kickers that get called out when ever action is likely to a sure thing. Ancients wearing the Ebonverts patch (A stylized black 'A' over an emerald 'V') tend to get a bit more respect and walking room, as they're known for being hard asses.

The Ebonverts is a magical group, consisting of primarily adepts. They don't answer to any one faction in the gang, although individual gangers will have their own allegiances. The Ebonverts come first however, being a martial arm of the Ancients, a sort of First and Last Response group.

The Ebonverts were originally little more than a drinking and party crew for the magiclaly talented of the Ancients, primarily for adepts instead of full mages, as they had their own clique. Over the years, as origianl members died off, the group turned more militant, mostly from retaliating for the deaths of their members. The group's leader is an elf known only as 'Joker'.

Joker is the group's nominal leader, not because of any official recognition, but from ability and sheer skill. Joker is a skilled leader and tactitian. Rumors say that he was a former Ghost from the Tir, but he isn't talking. A tall, dark haired elf, Joker tends to have a jovial disposition, unless he's crossed or on Ancients business. At those times, he's all business, and a cold blooded killer.

Currently the group has just met Slide, who asked to speak with Aero privately. As a whole, the group has no 'set' destination, although speaking with Sting seems like the next likely course. Haven, sadly, isn't gettng a lot of recognition, not being singled out in the Tain/Vixen 'spat'. Might be good for him really. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I am really surprised Tain's Ancients knowledge is so low, Crit. I mean, I know Haven is a bit over invested in the gang, but since you seem at least partially combat I would imagine most of those dice come from intuition. Anyway, just surprised that he doesn't know the ranks that well what with his plan to take the gang over and all.
