Ok. We have hard choices. I was just informed my son has a make up baseball game tonight at 8:00cst. I would have to drop by 7:30cst. Starting at 6:30est gives us an hour. Good, bad or just ugly?

hehehe... I am currently free tomorrow. Downside is that due to all the rain this month, we have 3 more make up games (yet to be scheduled) that have to be made up before July 1. Sorry for the last minute today.
*fingers crossed tomorrow stays clear* |

Ok let's meet up tonight anyway, just for a little bit. We can recap, clear up some dialogue and prepare for the meat of next game. Then we can play tomorrow as well.
The reason I'm really looking to push an aggressive schedule is that my wife is due for early august. So we gotta finish everything up by then. Otherwise, we'll have another 1-2 month hiatus |

Searching for the Spirit, Part #5
[ Part #1, Part #2, Part #3, Part #4 ] Out of the frying pan into the fire. No more back to Vagabond & Jason and my com rings again. One Nelson Mang is in a car... behind us. Realizing that if he was a threat, we'd already be dead I walk back to here him out. A chinese man, silver pin on suit. MDC. Seems Mang has a problem: Someone has a WMD. If we find it, he's offering a permanent residence pass, vehicle pass, CCW permit, detective license and office as well as the release of . Too good an offer to not at least try. Question is: Would it have just been easier to have killed myself there and then? He gives us a contact number and points us to the neo-anarchist weapon cache under the pit. This specific WMD is a nanite canister. What the hell do I know about a nanite canister? { pause } Ok. nanites are like microscopic robots, thought they can be organic. Isn't that like a bug or a virus or something? Damn. This just gets better every time I get a new detail. We get cheap passes and soldier uniforms. Weapons are assault rifles. The bright side of the conversation was that I learned the name of my torturer: Colonel Price. We'll cross that bridge later. After being dropped off in the pit, we work our way to the towards the weapon cache. When we work our way to the checkpoint, it takes a few moments to bluff us past, but bravado overwhelms protocol. We are no more past them and down the corridor than NeoA's attack the check point. We have to work our way laterally past the combat scene. Of course, we get engaged and Vagabond has to pop one of the guys. Pretty quickly there after we find ourselves in the old subway rail tunnels. I was able to find some wire and fashion a cheap set of lock picks and pick the lock on a side-door. Turned out to be a storage closet. Junk and an old first aid kit. Guess those hours late at night learning to pick locks weren't completely wasted. We, not completely, anyway. No, they couldn't be empty tunnels, they had to be inhabited by midget, elf ghouls on speed. This is my kind fight. An in your face, knock down drag out. Earlier, in the gunfight, I was pretty worthless. Vagabond carried that fight. This time, Vagabond got stomped but I kicked the shit out of the vampire, elf upma-lumpas. Of course, we had to put them down; They just didn't really seem the talking type. So let's recap: I started looking for a spirit who hangs out with a junky. Found the brother of the junky, but got a call for a personal meeting to talk about a made-man I pissed off. Got warned there to lie low. Took a detour headed back to find the junky and got a job looking for a missing teen. Found the junky, busted her our but got pinched by the man. Got tortured for two days by the man, without ever really getting asked a legitimate question. Got released and offered a job I couldn't refuse by someone working for the same company my torturer worked for. Haven't found the spirit, nor the missing kid. Haven't had time to deal with the gangster who wants to kill me and now I'm in a tunnel, looking for a weapon, dressed as a soldier hated by the locals. Some people have days you where you just shouldn't get out of bed. I have weeks like that. |

Good sign for us. Bad sign for your son though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I have the game room up in veav II. I noticed last week I accidentally started the room under the dev server... and you somehow both found it. So, this time, it is correctly started under veav
