For SR3 there is BeCKS, for SR4 there is Serbitar's system, which I think calls everything karma.

Or FrankTrollman's system, which is similar in theory to Serbitar's, but uses Build Points exclusively in place of Karma.

Or of course, you could use my system. Both of them address fundamentally similar points, namely that the BP and Karma systems used together lead to min/maxing and "break points" which neither of us approves of. Our methodology is fundamentally different and incompatible, but the root problem being addressed is not. -Frank |
