I sent Arsenal to the printer tonight. It still has to go through the whole printing and shipping process, of course, but it's there. More details at Shadowrun4.com. Street date to be announced when the books are in our warehouse.

If they follow like they did with Corporate Enclaves, it will most likely be when they anounce the street date. We can expect the printing and shipping to be a month or two(about as long as it normally takes when something is actually at the Printers), so..maybe by this time in march?

Or, if you read the little blurb that Adam linked, you'll find that the PDF release date is to be discussed in the next couple of days.

Yeah, and I said that if it follows the precedent set by Corporate Enclaves, I would expect the PDF to release probably in the same announcement that has the the street date for Arsenal.

Admittedly, I am eager for the previews to start!

Probably creepier now than when you actually see the book.

* Goes back to skimming through the "More Ways to Die" chapter (I kid you not).

QUOTE (knasser)
*Goes away to meditate, fast and generally prepare the soul for the next four years of eleven page Martial Arts threads that will appear every three weeks.*

Take this with the usual grain of salt, given the source, but I've played pretty much every version of SR Martial Arts rules including a couple of fan ones. The ones in Arsenal are my favorite system to date. That said, I too am expecting eleven page Martial Arts threads to pop up pretty regularly ;).

For my 1/50th of a Nuyen:
I am very much looking forward to seeing the new martial arts rules. I have no doubt we'll argue about them forever, but I'm betting they'll be fun.
Advanced Substance Abuse, I am skeptical about. Which is completely unfair, because I'm basing it entirely on the old SR addiction rules, where drinking a beer leads you into a spiral of doom which will kill you in about two months. (mmmm, hyperbole) Of course, I have enough trouble getting my PCs to use drugs, and I've flat-out told them I won't increase their addiction rating without us both talking about it first. But, they may still be helpful for managing kamikaze and other fun stuff, so the worst possible case is that it's a small part of the book that I may not use.
I'm really excited to see the vehicles and modifications. The current list is so very small.
I'm really excited about the new gear. I have a physical/social adept in my group with tons of money and nothing she wants to buy. Seriously. In all the current books, nothing. This is in a gang-level campaign, she's been hoarding her money through the entire campaign (over a year now) waiting for Arsenal to come out so that there might actually be some equipment she wants.

Actually, I hope that the Zoé Heritage and Victory Indiustrial lines of armoured clothing are back. Also, please, please, please say that the Savalette Guardian, WW Infiltrator, and FN AAL Gyrojet are back. I would be soooooo very happy...

Probably no creepier than an entire online forum of people giggling girlishly (with the exception of the girls who have the option to giggle girlishly in a non-creepy manner).

Count me in on all the celebrations. Bring on previews, PDFs and hard-copy asap, say I. :D
