Anticipation building as the moment draws nearer, the three minutes it takes Kilroy to respond is like an eternity. <<@Sam [Kilroy] Even better... -> Attachment: PAN ID <- I'm gonna have to locate a dedicated hacker for your team as well... 'til then, I'll just send a bill when its done.>> Sam is able to add the PAN ID of the vehicle to her temporary address list. Her com, having a PAN range of less than half a kilometer, won't pick up the car until its pretty close but that should be even better than visual markers. |

You're the best!>> Sam forwarded the information she got from Kilroy to team's comm systems. <<@Team [Sam] The ID of the car in question -> Attachment: PAN ID <- >> "Well it might have cost us a few nuyen, but we shouldn't miss the target after it comes into range." |

Ten more long minutes and the team's PANs all light up with a new contact. The mark's car has come in contact range and the ARO Kilroy provided was a trusted key. That means the mark's car is transmitting GPS information; No need to guess where the it is! Whatever Kilroy charges, its not enough... The car is less than a minute from stopping for the pickup. Midmorning traffic is light and the drizzle has changed to more of a misting. |

Spades "The time's getting down to the wire, what say we get this show on the road?" Spades breaks the silence, as he turns on his engine. Time to earn the money they're owed. |

The courier vehicle stops for the pickup. Seconds pass like hours and 47 seconds later the vehicle is on the move again. As it starts up, an incoming ARO from Kilroy outlays the the next destination. The path will take the car right past the team in moments on the opposite side of the street. |

@Jazz [ Spoiler ] <<@Jazz [Kilroy] Job interview time. Got a team in the heat of a run and they need some matrix over watch. Do good and you're in for the next phase of the run. Do bad... Well then I have two messes to clean up. I have faith though. Good luck, talk to you soon.>> -[ ARO: Contact Information for Sam ]- Sounds like a 'Hello, how are you doing?' & 'Welcome to Seattle'. But at least its work and tomorrow night should get you out of this coffin motel. |

Jazz A new day, a new beginning... Jazz gets up, as far as the constraints of her room allowed her to, silently cursing whoever invented these ridiculously small "hotel" rooms. At least it was cheap, her cash flow had been a little tight as of late. That, of course, was the least of her problems. There was always a way to make some nuyen, as long as the person who was going to pay you lived long enough, that is. Pushing her thoughts aside, Jazz dials the number given to her by Kilroy, after several precautions to at least make it difficult to intercept the call. "Good morning. I suppose you are expecting my call already. Got your number from the K." The voice is obviously female, reasonably friendly, maybe a little distant. Unsurprisingly, the video feed is blank. |

Jazz << [Jazz] Hold on... no, wait... what is your position? >> Once she has position data for both positions, Jazz figures out how much time there is to actually make this happen... In the meantime, she gathers her stuff and heads out of the box and towards the parking place of her bike, brute force hacking was not the most subtle thing, and by the sound of it, there was no time for the careful approach, so she wanted to be in a place where she could quickly change positions. |

As Jazz reaches for her jacket while looking at the incoming information she realizes two things: (1) The target vehicle is one block from the team and closing (she is receiving GPS from both) and (2) Jazz is at least ten minutes from the target location. She realizes she's gonna need admin access to a local com and work remotely. |

Jazz << [Jazz] Not much time, apparantly. Alright, I'll see what I can do, but know this... I have to go in hot, which means every alarm in the vincinity will be triggered. And there is no way around that; breaking into a protected system usually takes hours. Not sure, if that will actually help you as it might draw more heat towards your position, but are you sure that is what you want? What exactly do you want to accomplish with the traffic chaos and blanked out cams? Maybe there are other solutions. >> |

As Jazz and Sam converse to determine a plan, the clock continues to tick away. At current speed, the car will be passing the team's location in 45 seconds. Spade's car is currently parked in a small parking lot just off a main side street. They are three blocks from the site where the package was picked up and three more blocks from where the package will be delivered. The team is currently parked just off Auburn Way between 1st ST NE and 2nd ST NE in a parking lot on the East side. The courier is passing them headed south towards the corner of 2nd ST SE. ((Google maps is awesome here - Auburn, WA)) In AR, an indian brave rides up to Jazz and tosses her a leather bag ((ARO)). Contained within is a connection to a security node and a camera feed from the parking lot where the team vehicle is. The brave then rides off into the matrix without a word. |

Jazz << [Jazz] I'll see that I can figure out the camera locations at least, though you might need to manually disable (read: shoot) them. That might be doable without too many detrimental side effects. If I find a way to distract them, I will do so. I'll let you know about my progress. >> Jazz wonders a bit about the weird incident, but figures it can only come from Kilroy who should be the only one in knowledge of both, the team and her. So she figures it is safe to use and hooks up to the node to see what she can reach from there. |

Spades Spades sat in his car with the others. Apprehension and doubt creeping their ugly heads as the minutes passed by in what seemed to be hours. He didn't have quite enough of a view to be comfortable in his surroundings. He keyed in his SubVox, and made sure it was working, keeping his voice low so he could test everyone's communications set up without his normal voice overshadowing the comm system. <<@Party [Spades] Lord may you watch over us and break out the popcorn in our favor. Amigos, time to put on your game faces, and hope these guys are as big a set of slots this side of Las Vegas. >> He stressed his lack of Spanish-speaking ability with sustained pronunciation to playfully grate on Sam's nerves, trying to lighten the mood so he didn't feel so jittery. He assumed his job was getaway driver, which meant staying put and participating only if drek hit the fan. He chuckled as he collected his gear, setting his Ingram in his lap. Having the foresight to have already programed his GPS up for the quickest route out of the area and back towards the main highway. |

Sam Sam wrapped her scarf around her face, to obscure her features, in case Murphy's Law won out and their little caper was caught on camera. Then she opened the door a crack, so she could more easily jump out when Ramses' little friend made things go boom. <<@Ramses [Sam] Professor, are you still planning to put that inviso-spell on me? It might help ... >> |

Jumping to the node and using the access provided by the neon brave, Jazz finds that she had admin access to a security node for the parking lot. Admin access provides her r/w (read/write) to the video logs from the two cameras, the second of which faces the street. The node itself is ran off of some low-end hardware (( Response & System = R2 )) so using it as a hacking platform is probably not going to work well, but it does give her eyes on the area and a way to clean up some of the traces left by the team. Sam sitting in the car with a scarf on her face, is ready to go. Facing the street, she will easily be able to make it out in traffic. Assuming she times it right and doesn't cross right in front of someone, she can be in position easy when the mark's car passes. Spade's GPS route should get him out of the area quickly and efficiently. The smartgun feed from his Ingram displaying safety "on", ammunition "32" and a targeting cross-hair. |

Jazz << [Jazz] Alright, in order to not appear in the news, you should definitely tone down your comm output quite a bit. Lowest rating should be good enough, really, since you are close together. Then go into stealth mode with both vehicles and comms, just hooked up via PAN, no Matrix access. Leave only one line open for communication with me and give me full access to that comm unit, so I can encrypt it and make sure it doesn't register as normal. You are in a pretty nice neighborhood there, which unfortunately means a heluvalot of surveillance, probably in multiple layers. Don't take chances... cameras WILL get pictures here. Make sure no visual id is possible from both cars and persons. Oh yeah, and if you use magic, make sure those signatures are removed ASAP. Don't know a thing about how that works, but a friend of mine once told me about that you leave some sort of magical fingerprint every time you work your magic. Well, ok, guess you know that already. Just a reminder not to forget this in the heat. >> Jazz will then work on getting the line as secure and untracable as possible on both sides with her encryption and spoofing programs for now, routing the signal through a local node (the camera node, if possible, as she can easily remove the logs there), so there is no need for a high rating signal for the open comm either. |

Spades; PAN=Hidden/private Spades worked on the car HUD via his commlink, putting everything in the background, and accessed his car's LTG codes, placing it in Hidden mode as well, optional extras were always the preferable way to run. After that he turned down the rating of his comlink range, while doing this he commented to Ramses before they were going to run and jump out... "Hey, can you hand me that blanket, and the two patches in the box?" Then to Sam. "If you can get in close enough without firing shots, use these." Motioning Ramses to pass them to her, two tranq patches (Rating 6) from his box. "Should be strong enough to take down anyone, but use both of them." He took the blanket while in Ramses's possession while he passed Sam the patches. Spades had to admit that while he wasn't the babushka type, he would've made a pretty one. Improvisation was key in this business, and he remembered that this trick was key. He'd have to invest in a disguise kit in the near future, but this would do, even if he looked rediculous. |

Ramses; PAN = Stealth Ramses was whispering into thin air for what seemed to be the hundredth time, the name Nishtuk could be heard periodically as he spelled out the instructions for the spirit one last time. Confident he was understood and the target identified, Ramses held the spirit on standby in astral space until the car was within range. "Right, very well. Was the blue box then, eh?" Ramses reached back and snagged a blanket and grabbed two tranq patches that Spades had asked him to gather. Looking at Sam and seeing her eyes twinkle with eager anticipation, Ramses reached out and patted her hand," Kachunk kachunk, pop, snoozapalooza and Bob's your Uncle! Easy peasy, Luv." There was a sudden shimmering effect within the car as Ramses's eyes focused intently on Sam, concealed within it was barely noticeable from outside when he cast his improved invisibility. To the casual onlooker a car door swung open, then back again as if controlled by a rigger or automated taxis. Spades and Ramses watched as Sam moved into place. All seemed to be going according to their hastily made plan. As the car approached Ramses let one last grin escape, "Nishtuk, execute!" |

Jazz Busy working on a solution to cut out as much of the camera footage as possible, starting with the wireless signals, Jazz also keeps an eye on the GPS tracking to see how much time is left until the target will arrive. Shortly before the car enters the scene, the hacker will then attack the node that will hopefully get her access to the local cameras that are not transmitting wireless signals. |

Sam; PAN = Stealth Sam studied the tactical situation. They were on the wrong side of the street to make things easy, and she had no time to remedy the situation. She'd have to cross a lane of oncoming traffic, to get to the target. She trusted to her magically attuned senses to gauge the traffic patterns, and hopefully an opening would present itself as events unfolded. Then she heard the dwarf utter the "Go" command to the awaiting spirit, and it was showtime... |

Jazz's reply come in a fast, furious flurry of description and orders as she loads her scan program to Sam's com and begins putting it to use. She also runs the spoofing and editing the parking lot security logs while she speaks. Spades begins complying before the hacker's speech is even complete while Ramses switched his attention to his spirits as time runs out during her instructions. Sam meanwhile fades from view before she even exits the team's car. Monday March 17, 2070; 10:01:30AM; Auburn Out of time, when she finishes giving directions, Jazz snags a few frames and edits them into the parking lot video feed. She then moves to the other signals picked up by Sam's com, running the analyze program to pull out all that are video feeds and mass injects the same images from before to all the cameras. It was sloppy, but time was gone the car was in sight and she had to do something. If this worked out she'd have more time to plan with the team for the next run. Sam revved the engine and headed into traffic while Ramses watched his spirit close in on the car as it started to pass their position. Spades started his car and prepared to move the team away from the pending chaos. |

Spades eases the car through the parking lot, enabling him and Ramses to watch as one, two, three, four tires deflate on the courier vehicle. The car screeches to a stop, catty-corner in the lane. A moment later, the front two doors begin to open. Sam watches the car pass her position as she sits on the idling motorcycle. Her moment arriving, she glances at the passing traffic, both directions, using her peripheral vision. Holding the brakes she revs the engine to a whine, maintaining it for a second before releasing the brakes and shooting forward through traffic like a rocket. She blasts between a pair of cars, hits the far lane and once again grabs hard on the front brake while sliding the rear tire 90 degrees. In the span of a heartbeat she releases the brake yet again, twisting the accelerator causing the bike to shoot forward a final time. |

Spades Spades was in full view of all the mojo hocus-pocus, and essentially was in awe of the efficiency of Ramses' craft. Not to mention, the rider-less bike was a nice touch, but perhaps gave a little too much credit to use of magic at the scene, if it wasn't obvious already. He quickly evaluated the passenger exiting the courier car on his side, and relayed their armaments as per norm to Sam via SubVox. <@Sam [Spades] All right, standard gear as per info gathered. Keep your shots sparse and mark 'em, flashes can get traced. > He kept it short and sweet, not wanting to keep the com open long enough for her to be sneaking up behind the obscured courier behind the car to hear the chatter over her earphones, even if it was noisy outside today. He felt a little rhetorical what with Sam already being aware of her situation. The more info he gave her the better, she couldn't be concentrating on everything at once, he assumed that much anyway. He cut the coms, keeping with his nonchalant attitude. "Who the hell is Nishtuck?" |
