I seem to remember that on the previous version of DSF there used to be a link at the top of each thread next to the page navigation that jumped you to the first unread post in the thread. This feature was extremely useful in long threads, especially in PbP game threads.

Any chance we could have that back? Or is it just moved and I'm just missing it? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wobble.gif)

[edit]Also, sorry if this was brought up elsewhere.

This icon often transports me to a way older then teh last unread post... Someone else experiencing that problem?

Oh, good, it's not just me.

Yeah, I've been having the same problem; the little orange square transporting me to a post several days out of date--and the interesting thing is, it's always the same post for the thread, no matter how many times I've checked up on the thread.
