...OK, the Insert Image button. Tried to use it today but instead of pulling in the the image, it inserted the path to the image with the tags in text in the post. Is this feature not yet enabled? Will it be? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/question.gif)

The moderators have stated numerous times that they do not intend to activate the image posting feature. There are lots of other places on the net to post images and then link to them here. This way, the load speed for each thread is not increased (for those that this is important), and the temptation to post off-color pictures is curtailed to some extent.

And this way, I don't have to insta-permaban someone when they start posting LOLCats or some other idiotic internet meme picture as a reply to a thread. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Aw ... but I like LOL Cats. And that's fine. You're allowed to like LOL Cats. But posting a picture from there, or any picture with a "witty" abbreviation or misspelled word in it as a reply on a message board should be grounds for instant execution via Thor Shots. *goes off to ban Dashinfen now* Bull (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ork.gif) |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ...makes sense on both accounts. Just checking as I am active on the DAZ community forums as well and there direct image posting is allowed. Of course a lot of this is more for troubleshooting and development purposes. Yeah, graphics (particularly 3d ones) do chew up space & hence load time. As to curtailing impropriety, I definitely have no issue there. And that's fine. You're allowed to like LOL Cats.
