If you believe Lone Gunman, Hecate is the woman that runs the Atlantean Foundation.

Aunty H's Immortals Scorecard
He tends to get things wrong from time to time, and his insight is often questionable (he refused to believe all the proof that Ghostwalker was Icewing, for instance, until they all but came out and said it in Dragons), but he does have a pretty decent database for things like this. :) |

I went back and forth on the Icewing/Ghostwalker thing. On the one claw, when I first saw it my thought was "Icewing!" On the other, we got joshin' about it in the forums and I said he wasn't. Then SotF came out and proved me right/wrong, which is a good thing.

I always wondered about that. |

I think he's just a meta who knows his stuff. I haven't seen any links to anyone else in his posts.

If I remember correctly, he was a shadow decker affiliated with the IRS for a time, but I'd have to look up the references again.

Also wasn't Nightfire affiliated with ARES too?
I'm cheating. I'm sitting at work thumbing through Corporate Download. |

Chromed Accountant was an IRS company man who decided it was more profitable to go into the private sector. Corp Shadowfiles
Neon Samurai was the one with the beef with Ares, mainly because he blames them for his father's death and they responded by saying HE did it. SSC, FoF Nightfire is a Ares company man decker. SSC, CD |

IIRC, he was part of the black/deniable section of the IRS that looked into the Megas dealings and decided to quit and run before the agency, ah retired him for knowing a bit too much. :) |

I'm glad the Neon Samurai seems to be dead. The man was a pud.
On the other hand, I'm sad Matador is dead/has gone into hiding (depends on who you ask - there's some speculation he faked his assassination). I liked him. |

SOTA, I think. Apparently he got sniped in the dome by someone. Mentioned by his XO, 'Picador'.
Or if you mean the faking his death part, no, I don't have a canon reference for that. I don't own SOTA, and haven't personally looked into it. Apparently there's some kind of contradictory mention of Matador showing up for something after he's supposed to be dead, though. I'll look into it. |

I meant the latter, which is why I bolded it. :)
I've read pretty much everything, but don't recall anything like what you are describing in regards to Matador not being dead. If you come up with a reference, please let me know. |

I should've stated more clearly - 'it depends on who you ask' means I was told by a generally knowledgeable friend of mine that there's contradictory info.
I personally don't know. If I find anything, I'll post it. |
