Has anyone seen stats and cost for the Mimic option for anthroform drones in Arsenal, or is it missing? I cant find it anywhere.

It is missing.
There is question, in my mind, at least, as to whether or not this was intentional. It may have had its description included because there are one or two drones that possess it, and was not intended to be added as an afterthought to any old anthroform. If the rules allow you to retrofit a city-bus with a blimp, though, I expected there to be some rules for it, even if it wasn't intended to be a typical modification. I would have maybe expected to see a high slot cost, a huge cost, and really high availability. *shrugs* Perhaps it was only overlooked, and will be errataed in later, but you're not missing anything. |

I was actually okay with the decision to leave out Marcel Marceau, the book was overcrowded as it stood - sorry couldn't help myself.
The stats for the Mimic mod were an oversight. We had initially overlooked several mods left over from the original Augmentation draft. When we plugged them in at the last minute some stuff was overlooked - hence the missing anthroform bodies in the tables at the back of the book. We will be addressing all of these in upcoming errata. I don't have them on hand but I will be posting the stats when I get home. |

Sweet! Then I'll have everything I need to convert a city bus into an air whale! Except the skill to pilot it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Actually, that's doable, but the handling on such a behemoth would be terrible. (Something like -5, and its slow) |

Pilot: Exotic Vehicle. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
By "except the skill to handle it" I meant the rating of the skill, not the skill itself. You would need 5 ranks of Pilot: Aircraft (maybe pilot: exotic vehicle) just to counter-act the penalties of trying to fly a lighter-than-air bus around. |

Or just a very high reaction -- or maybe just favorable conditions. And don't try to take it low into tight handling terrain. Which I think you can count on, should you ever find a GM crazy enough to let you turn a city bus into a flying whale. |

Too dain bramaged at the moment to come up with one having just completed the monthly billing cycle at work. |

They were actually destroyed before they could be created by a woman, her kid, and an anthroform drone sent back in time. Is it just me or has the seriousness of my thread been derailed... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wobble.gif) |

Is it just me or has the seriousness of my thread been derailed... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wobble.gif) True, but now it can be covered in soft, supple skin with synthetic blood in it. Seriously, though, does the skin keep itself alive, or does one have to moisturize one's drones? |

You have to add a nutrient pack every couple of days. (Rating days, I think)

True, but now it can be covered in soft, supple skin with synthetic blood in it. And WHY do you think I wanted it. My characters can now have their own Mitsubishi Maid in full French maid uniform. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grinbig.gif) With Fuzzy logic (HOW to get those pesky stains away) and Mimic 3 it will be very human looking. Yours for only 14100Y with Camera and Microphones |

I think that's what the other copied-over entry in the table was supposed to be. |

I'd guess dunking the vehicle/drone in a nutrient bath and letting the tissue grow over it, the cost is principally related to the tank required, and it's facility based so that could be a pretty big tank... As for moisturising your flesh car, you already wax the paintwork, right? Just swap out your turtle wax for baby oil, and you're good to go! You don't even need to wait before you can buff it. OK... coming outa the gutter now... |
