OOC: Mm-kay, I've never done PbP before, so I don't really know how this works. I'd like to offer the services of one particular theurgist, whose powers lean well towards defense, and can serve as a secondary face. Anyone want to take him on?

well after a long absence caused by god knows how much stuff I decided to pick up Shadowrun again (SR4 or 4a for those wondering) I´m free to make any character tho right now I´m in the most mood for a gun nut or a agile Face/Detective hybrid character

I've been playing in a couple Call of Cthulhu PBP games and I would love to play a Shadowrun one to get my SR fix between sessions.
If anyone is starting a game, I'd love to be considared for it. |

I've been playing Shadowrun regularly for the last year or so, but my group is a mix of students and workers and sometimes it's tough to get everyone together at the same time. Consequently our rp sessions are sometimes quite spread out. I'd like to play more and so PbP seems like the best way.
I've never played 4th Edition and I'd like to use the PbP to test run a few character concepts and learn how to play certain characters before putting them into the more demanding world of face-to-face rp. Consequently, I'd like to stick to 3rd Edition. I'm wondering if there are currently any 3rd Edition games going, or if anyone would be interested in running one? Thanks. |

As for running I´m sadly to deep in RL stuff, I barely have enough time to play Shadowrun, let alone run one. |

Guess I'll just have to nag my group to play more often/run two groups in parallel. Since I'm new and have only played a fairly generic street sam and a fairly generic phys-ad, I'm keen to try several other character types as well. Perhaps I should just fork over the cash for 4E. |

It appears my Trans-global Ghost Cartels campaign has lost some players. We have gone a couple of runs into the campaign. We could use a couple of more players. We play on MapTools about once a month. Or, rather we did when we had a team of players.
Check out HERE if you are interested. |

I'd be very happy to find a game atm. My players decided not to give a damn, and i can't GM that TriCity campaign i wanted, so i'm looking for closure in a PbF/other net-based game. I can play any kind of character, to be honest, and i do have enough experience to do so. I'm still learning 4ed rules though...

Ok I was looking round for a game on here to run a character in but I couldn't find any so I figure I'll try my hand at running a game. I'm not entirely sure if this is the right place for the post but I'm sure somebody will let me know if it isn't.
First off I'm a pretty awful GM and not so conversant with the 4th Edition rules but I'm here and willing to give it a go. So there's that I guess. Secondly I'm going to be running mostly pre-generated missions because I'm lazy and it's a lot easier to do that than actually come up with stuff myself. Thirdly I'm more than willing to listen to somebody who's got a better grasp of the rules than I do so feel free to pull me up if I'm doing something wrong. Fourthly I'm going to open up the game to everybody and anybody, newbies and fellow GM's who don't get a chance to play especially welcome. Fifthly I'm not sure if I need to contact an mod to set up the threads for the game but once I've found out I'll set up everything and post a proper ad here. Awesome. [OPEN] First Run It's 2072, we're in Seattle, we got an Ares Predator, half a clip of explosive ammo, one hit of kamikaze, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses. Lets hit it. System: SR4 BP: 400 #Players: 4-8 #Players signed up: 3 Quicklink: First Run |
