Rigger 3 page 98 says that to have RCEM on my deck each of my drones also needs it. Do I use the same equipment and give it to my drones, or is there a separate piece of equipment I'm missing?

By my understanding, you have to purchase an RCEM unit for each drone. In order to communicate to drones without the RCEM unit you would have to disable the unit (I'd say a simple action, free if jacked in) to give orders to them.
