So this is a post for all of you who use past Earthdawn & Prime Runners legends (if you don't please don't write how much you disagree or don't enjoy using them). This post is just a toilet to crap out your plots with the house-hold names of Shadowrun and state what they are doing in your game. (I know that many of the folks from the prime runners books and such are too old to still run, but some still can rock do to grit or immortality, so let's hear it!)

IE:
Harlequin is training Jane "Frosty" Foster for the next coming of the horrors.
Ghost-Walker has organized a military strike against Aztlan.
Sukie Redflower is planning on breaking Leonarus out from Lofwyr's prison in Germany.

Some names that would be great to hear about...
Lung, Ryumyo, The Sea Dragon, Rhonabwy, Hestaby,Earthroot, Sirrurg, Sean "Professor" Laverty, Ehran, Jane Foster, Hanz Zessler, Hoodlum Priest,
Lord Torgo

Harlequin is currently bumming around the world, taking a bit of a vacation; see knasser's Carnival module for details
Ghostwalker is making sure that his brother's sacrifice wasn't in vain... and getting into staring contests with Lofwyr and Aztlan.
Lung & Ryomyo: Same old, same old. It's like watching a pair of identical twins playing a game of chess.
Sea Dragon: Got half of her eggs back; is currently defending them against all comers and imprinting them with her nature
Hestaby: I think if any dragon could be said to love another, she loved Dunkie; she's also making sure his legacy is preserved. Oh, and she's digesting Dragonslayer.
Ehran: writing another book.
Jane Foster: Making her way in the Sixth World, with the knowledge that she can afford to take the long view--for the most part.

The only IE doing anything of note that I have in my game world is one Mr Harlen Quinzel, a Seattle native of teh Pullyup barrens who moved to Tir Tangire during the recent troubles and is now in the running for the Council of Princes. And cursing Erhan daily for having been put into the position.

You know that there is no longer a Council of Princes (technically) in cannon, right? The star chamber (representative government) took over power and now an ork is is charge of the Tir (GRRRRRRRRRRRRR). How will we ever wipe the shame from our faces.

As much as I dislike IEs, I have to say that I really like knasser's ideas for his new game. Of course, that may have something to do with casting Ehran as a poser. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Well, sorta. The Tir's a dangling trhead. We know that there was a revolution and that the Star CHamber's still around, but, we don't know everything.

For moi, as an example, it wound up splitting into a bicameral system, with teh Star Chamber gaining actual power akin to the US House of Representatives, the Council of Princes serving akin to teh Senate, and the High Prince serving akin to a president. The different revolutionary forces were at cross purposes and, in teh end, it wound up being *similar* to teh old system, but with greater opportunities for advancement.

Made more sense in the long run and allowe dteh Tir to remain "That country run by Elves" but still have some flavor.

An Immoral Elves Book would make more money.

They've already done 2 source books on that subject.

I always liked the idea of Hestaby and Lowfyr mating, and having all these weird power plays and manipulations between them while they're courting. Kind of like grade school kids pulling each other's hair, but with assassins.

There are? How come I missed them? Did they contain any more info on Aina's kinky ritualistic sex practices? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Would like to see more about the IEs in future books, but im not holding my breath. At least have them post comments in the upcoming books, like Harlequin: "The laughing man" used to do, been lacking in 4th edition.....

I'd very much like to have the Tir Tairngire situation laid out, so we know have has/is happening. Would also be nice with a Tir Na Nog update.

A few of them have made a few appereances in campaigns ive gm'ed over the years, always good fun (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

You're right, in Runner Havens they gave just enough to cover their asses, but also enough for me to be begging for more. Total teaser. Anyways, if you look to page 72, you will see that the Berlin Portland wall came down and the princes have fled their estates on Sylvan Royal hill. Also, officially the Council of Princes (formerly the head of real power in the Tir) has handed over power to the elected Star Chamber (originally meant to give the populace some feeling of representative government) who is lead by Chairman Larry Zincan (do we have any info on this guy?) who was a former prince and also an Ork. Then they tell us that oh wait! the Princes only appear to be gone, they are still very much a force to be reckoned with, and there are still plenty of Elven supremacists in the wings (Hip Hip Horay!).

I haven't heard much (if anything) about Tir na Nog in 4th yet. This fanboy is also very hopeful for the day when IEs return to the forefront of SR.

And Fortune, I think fist was referring to the Tir sourcebooks. I may be wrong. There are also the two Harlequin campaigns and numerous other references throughout FASA and FANPRO sourcebooks (see the Ancient Files)

I know all about those books, but they weren't specifically dealing with Immoral Elves, just the Immortal ones. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/rotfl.gif) Sorry, misread on my part. Certainly, those books were not Immoral in the way I hoped. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
