Anyone have a decent resource for floor plans? I'm doing some digging to get back in the GM side of things and am trying to stay away from Sprawls Sites / Sprawl Maps.

I usually just type floor plan or blueprint with apartment or warehouse or whatever I need, then I usually copy it and make minor alterations...

Here's a link to an old thread on this site that I had bookmarked.

http://forums.dumpshock.com/index.php?showtopic=18357
There's some good stuff there.

What I do for myself is jsut use Google and do a search for floorplans, deckplans, blueprints etc. There's TONS of stuff out there. Then jsut use a Photoshop or Paintshop Pro or something along those lines to customize it hte way you want it.

Universities, libraries and hospitals are GREAT base maps for unique floorplans that can be adapted to any thing you want.

For your runners' dosses and those of NPC's there are more apartment and house floorplans than you could possibly search through.

I started a thread about the same topic some months ago... It was called "I am no architect!" or something like that, so search it under my posts and you will find some useful answers. Some guys contributed some near stuff there...

Cheers! and good hunting

Just make sure not to duplicate things too closely, because then it might look like you're carrying around plans to actually break into a building and steal stuff in real life. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ork.gif)

There is a D&D resource that could be pretty good for this. I've never tried it, but I hear alot of good things about Campaign Cartographer 2.

Has anyone ever tried using is for modern floor plans?

I use Sprawl Sites for common buildings, like Stuffer Shacks, restaurants and banks, then hand-draw everything else onto graph paper... which then goes on a wet-wipe battle map.

Well, Since there's a new thread for it, I uploaded an archive of maps and floor plans that I use in my campaigns. It's a Rar Archive, 12 MB. They're from various sources. I'm not sure where thay all came from, I've just collected them for awhile. Uhhh.... 147 files or something. Organized somewhat.

Have fun?
