I have achieved the collection of almost all the games I had hoped to obtain.
Final Fantasy 2(4)-The very first final fantasy I played and the one that got me started on the genre of RPGs Dungeon Master-a great dungeon crawler game Eye of the Beholder- Another nice dungeon crawler game. King Arthur's World- a side scrolling game, innovative puzzles to solve using vairous military type troops Wild Arms- one of the big 3, great story and music Suikoden- another of the big 3 Arguablly the best RPG for the PS1, story, characters, music. Vandal Hearts-the last big three and the one I could not find anywhere. I don't have it yet. beautiful music The purchase totaled close to 200 dollars and believe you me the wife was none to please to hear I spent that much on video games. I have only had time to play with them in a very limited fashion. Playing these games, especailly the nentindo ones, had me bust out all my old games for the super nes, ogre battle, shadowrun, chrono trigger, FF3, among others. In retrospect I think, now that I bought them, it was a vain attempt to hold on to my youth, to cherish a time free of worries of mortgages, new car and house payments (the house the wife nagged me to get, I don't care for it), work, nagging wife, and the health of ones kids. Especially the time when I put in King Arthur's world for the first time in over a decade, the opening song...so beautiful...took me to a time back to when i wore a younger man's clohtes. It was summer time, I remember the smell of the grass, and the dandelions flying in the wind, the cool breeze against my face, the pure unabashed happiness and I genuinly teared up....where has the time all gone....and where am I? I was so happy they fixed my copy of Final Fantasy tactics, i hooped and hollared. If you have any old games. Find them in your box, dust them off, smile a little smile, and play them once again. When all the world is young, lad, And all the trees are green; And every goose a swan, lad, And every lass a queen,— Then hey for boot and horse, lad, And round the world away; Young blood must have its course, lad, And every dog his day. When all the world is old, lad, And all the trees are brown; And all the sport is stale, lad, And all the wheels run down,— Creep home, and take your place there, The spent and maimed among: God grant you find one face there You loved when all was young.
