I just finished watching Lone Wolf McQuade again tonight. Every time I watch that movie, it gets me so pumped up. Right after it was done I was sweating, and then I had to go use the restroom. I'd been sleepy before seeing the film, but now I'm wide awake and wired and I even did some laundry since the film got me so pumped up. I want to drink warm cans of Pabst from a 1960s era refrigerator.
I just realized that it is a testament to the folly of mankind that nobody has ever made a Lone Wolf McQuade video game. The movie is seven shades of awesome and could easily translate into all sorts of video games. It could even work for tactical shooters because twice the movie emphasises how standing out in the open and telling superior numbers of hostiles to drop their weapons makes you get pwnt. Unless you're Chuck Norris. Also, I read somewhere that when Walker: Texas Ranger came out that the people who did Lone Wolf McQuade sued them for ripping off their idea. This is because there are certainly similarities between Lone Wolf McQuade and Walker: Texas Ranger. Thus we can argue that Lone Wolf McQuade is in fact the Confucian progenitor of Walker: Texas Ranger, and thus exists primarily on a spiritual level. There's lost of YouTube on Lone Wolf McQuade: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VhMD0-nym5U http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFrkl6-NWKU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQkyi1_l6po http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEJxMHewTYU Anyway, I don't really have any skills with skinning, but if I could somehow make a Lone Wolf McQuade skin for SWAT 4, that would be extremely awesome for loading up maps in Multiplayer Mode and playing them in Co Op but just solo-ing them myself. It would be a lot like the movie especially seeing as how in TSS expansion pack they implemented the ability to throw a manly punch at NPCs, and furthermore it is now possible to beat an NPC using your fist and many many punches into an injured and incapacitated state. |
