Since the most recent post by a Knoxville player I can find is from 2006(!), I figured it's high time to make another. I have little experience, only one D&D campaign that I left because two of the other three players were more interested in playing Whores & Hosebags (in the seedy, how-often-can-I-get-my-character-laid sense, not the gritty-street-campaign sense). I'm willing to play most character types; the particular concept kicking around in my head ATM is a low-cyber, high-skills assassin, less street samurai than The Professional, or any of a dozen other cinematic hitman tropes. If that doesn't fit your campaign, just let me know; I have a fertile imagination, and I'm sure I can come up with something you'll like.

Missed this one. I'm down to a group of three at the moment, but we play in west Knoxville. Shadowrun is not our current game - we're playing Dark Heresy right now - but we all have interest in it. Let me know if you'd like to give it a try.

Ack! So sorry for the months-long delay, but we got super busy at work not long after I posted. I am definitely still interested. Dark Heresy sounds worthwhile - I didn't even know there was an RPG set in the 40k universe.

I hate to say this, but I'm moving out of Knoxville this week and heading for Seattle (south of Tacoma, really, but...). I'll let my Knoxville group know that you may be interested. One of them is a diehard SR fan that also loves Rolemaster (but now prefers the simplified HARP version) but is very particular about trying new games, while the other dislikes SR but will try almost anything.

Remember to steer clear of the Barrens; I hear there are some dangerous characters out there. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
