Can a technomancer thread a software suite? Effectively getting 2+ programs for the price of threading one?

I don't know what software suits are but I'd guess NO.
Technomacners can only thread complex forms, you'd need some kind of complex form suite for that to be possible. A Techomancer for example can't thread a hacking program on a comlink it just doesn't work. |

My take is that software suites aren't a program, they are a collection of programs TREATED as one program for purposes of load on a node.

Tarantula is posting about threading a CF he doesnt have and per the BBB TM's can thread CF's of programs they dont have at all. |

But it would be treated as how many CFs it is not just one uber CF.

The question was more since software suites are treated as a singular program, why couldn't a technomancer threat that singular suite "program" instead, and thusly get all the programs included in the suite for only the penalty of sustaining one thread?

While the rules don't seem to have a "No" in them I'd chalk my reservations on allowing it up to complexity. In the end I'd have to say no flat out, half to give Hackers that little bit of edge and half because Technos are plenty versatile already just by being able to thread whatever they want. If you wanted to throw them a bone maybe let them do it in your game.

The other option I was toying with was letting it happen, but they have to distribute the hits between all the programs. Basically trading the sustaining penalty for lesser sustained programs.
