The title of this entry is largely false. As my name is, in fact, not Inigo Montoya. And as far as I know, my father is still alive, and none of you are responsible for his death.
In point of fact, my name is Deni. I'm a Canadian imported from Ireland, and am not technically new to Dumpshock. I was a lurker back in the ShadowRN days, and then rejoined quite a while ago. Promptly got distracted by real life and disappeared for a good long time, only to recently reappear. I've been playing since 1st Edition, though I was most active through 2nd and 3rd. I've gotten my feet wet with 4th edition, and have been busy running an online game on a different forum, but still haven't had the time to form a proper opinion of it. I do, however, enjoy the setting aspects as much as ever. It makes writing it very, very entertaining, and I have to make use of that Film/Anthro/English degree somehow, right? I run/enjoy playing a very Noir style game as opposed to action movie. Combat certainly happens quite often, but I like to play it a little more gritty and grim than a lot of people seem to head towards. Stealth, smarts and legwork will save your ass more often than a wired up street sam with a panther assault cannon in my book. Very roleplay heavy, a lot of cross-game tie-ins and interweaving the metaplot as much as possible. Anyway, I just thought I'd give you a quick hi, and say it's good to see there's still a few Shadowruncentric sites out there. Can't beat the setting. |

Heya Deni, welcome aboard (Or should I say, back, since really this is just the evolution of the mailing list, to a degree).

Thanks, mate.
Yeah, it's odd being back around here. I wander back and find my boy Fistandantilus has run off to boot camp. Been away WAY too long. |

No, I'm good. I have this used lipstick I stole from a lady's purse while I took public transit home from my PO's place. So I'm covered.
