My most recent technomancer build with the new unwired abilities has a logic of 3. It isn't that useful, the biggest benefit of logic that you get up to 2x logic complex forms at chargen, and no more.

Perhaps because everyone equates Matrix damage on a TM to real damage since they don't have a matrix track?

Which only changes where the damage is recorded, not what you use to resist the damage.
