Hi guys, i have a simple question and couldn´t find any answer in no sourcebook.

If i loose magic by implantating some stuff / loosing essence, can i couple the lost magicpoint with an geas and going on using that point if geas is fulfilled? (Like it was in SR3)

Thanks in advance and sorry for bad english (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

No, go check street magic and read the geas section.

Okay it was my fault, i just checked the geas-sektion and mentioned there isn´t anything in compare ^^. The stuff i ment was

"Tweaking the Rules"
Every gamemaster has the option of altering the rules to
fit more snugly with your group’s personal style of play. Here
are a few suggestions you can consider to tailor Shadowrun’s
magic rules closer to your own personal preferences.

It is page 31

"Magic Loss"
Unlike in previous editions, magicians don’t lose Magic
from grievous wounds or by abusing certain drugs, like stim
patches. For a more gritty campaign, gamemasters can reintroduce
Magic loss under any or all of the circumstances
below:
• The character glitches while resisting Physical damage.
• The character commits a glitch while under the influence
of a stim patch.
• Another character providing medical treatment glitches
during the Success Test.
A character may voluntarily take a geas to prevent Magic
Loss
from occurring in these situations.

Thought this wasn´t an optional rule, see its late and i am tired (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) . Thanks anyway.
