Yea, I know, it was all in another thread but I really want to know what people think about it.

Basically, pick the vehicle you want in the book, fiddle with the RAW variant rule (Arsenal) (+/-20% of values) and then you start working with the rules below and add or reduce values of the vessel in question.
Add the totals together and you have the total cost increase/reduction of the vessel

Used / Alternative Version Vehicle Price List:

Handling: -2%
Pilot: -2%
Sensor: -2%
Body: -1% (Add +1 For each level 1+2+3 etc)
Armor: -1% (Add +1 For each level 1+2+3 etc)
Acceleration (Walking): -1%
Acceleration (Running): -1%
Speed: -0,1%
Hardware: -2% (Reduction only)
Signal: -2% (Reduction only)
Upgrades Removal: Upgrade Cost

Note: In the case that you find a SUPERIOR vehicle in some regard (improved handling for example) double the percentage reduction and add that as a cost instead (+1 handling would give a price increase of +4% instead).

Note: Each reduction/improvement of armor or body will also increase/decrease acceleration as the mass of the vehicle will be changed. Stronger body and armour will make the vehicle slower and vice versa.

Max Reduction is 50% Regardless of how scrappy it is.
Handling Modifier: Each 10% Price Reduction for a used vehicle Gives a -1 Dicepool For handling Tests.
Price reduction is done AFTER vehicle modifications are added as the vehicles attributes affect the whole vessel.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Example - The Stealth Thunderbird
Body: 10 (-55%)
Armor: 9 (-45%)
Sensor: 3 (+12%)
Pilot: 3 (+4%)
Handling: +2 (+4%)
Accel: 60/300 (+10/+50%) (Actual Values are +79/+319 as both body reduction and armour adds to acceleration)
Speed: 800 (-20%)
Cost: -40% (1410000+10000Y)
Standard Upgrade: Chameleon Coating (included in cost)

The stealth thunderbird is a small stealth Version (duh) and have a superior acceleration compared to its heavier brother but slower top speed.

Ah, forgot to mention that it has the standard features from the original vehicle as well as chameleon coating.

A thunderbird for 10k? I think you need to go back to the drawing board.

No, a thunderbird for 1410000Y which is 60% of the original one.

It got half body, half armour, less speed but lots more acceleration and almost invisible to the naked eye.

The +10000 is for the chameleon coating.

Of course, it still makes lots of noise, and thus should be easily visible on ultrasound displays.

Which is why T-Bird Runners use canyons and ravines and the like. Makes it harder to track through all the echos and such.

Not impossible, but harder. Forests are good as well, but not as good.

Canyons and ravines with forests are nice. 'Course, you could also suck in a few birds/branches into an intake and ruin your day, but if you wanted safe, you'd have flown with a commercial airline. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif)

I could try making one for 10K but for some reason i dont think you'll find volunteer test pilots for it... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grinbig.gif)
