... how much would a rigger's cocoon modded with enough hardened armor to survive said orbital strike cost?

My base plan is to give every one a personalized side arm custom look to link to the team and modded to fit well with everyone's strengths and weaknesses am thinking an Ares Crusader or other MP for Tam. The rest is a bit trickier DC and Abaddon/Jean cant fire a pistol without defaulting however Abbaddon has 15 agility so would roll 14 dice any way. Seraph has no gear up so cant see any holes to fill but am thinking a heavy pistol modded for stealth. And Lilith is small and in the same boat as DC and Abaddon. For DC I'm stumped on what to give him though I could throw in an active soft for said gun. For Abaddon and Lilith I need some player input.

My apologies - I got distracted and forgot - again. Equipment list is now (mostly) up. I am finishing details at the moment.

I considered briefly what to do about a sidearm for DC, which is why he has the RPK. He'd never see the point of carrying something smaller on the battlefield. An Ingram White Knight with a barrel reduction for use in tight quarters could come in handy, but that's about the smallest weapon he'd be likely to bother with.

Lilith, when directly confronted, relies on her pistol crossbow with injection darts.
She'd more prefer the deltaware simsense booster, but that's probably a little out of your price range... |

An Aztechnology F3a flamethrower, on an articulated weapon arm, upgraded to a smartgun, then modified with a rating 6 pilot program and targetting autosoft, and an Exotic Ranged Weapon:Flamethrower pluscoded activesoft?
Edit: Or a troll modified Lockheed Sparrow. Edit 2: Or a troll portable launcher capable of firing the Mitsubishi-GM Outlaw missiles, and a dozen of the missiles with Block I and Block II warheads. Edit 3: Or an antique RPG-7 or MG-42 to hang over the mantle. Edit 4: Forget all that rediculous nonsense. How about a pimped out, custom look, telescoping staff? |

Hey, got an hour of net access so I thought I'd check in.
SR4A [ Spoiler ] As to how much I need to be paid, I gave Abaddon the 'In Debt' quality partly to replicate the enormous expensive of running a black project like that. He costs a minimum of 45000 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nuyen.gif) a month just to break even. I would imagine that working for the British Government and by extension Saeder Krupp the back office team might expect to see much of the capital investment in the project to be recouped. A reasonable estimate would be for the Project to go into the black after three months of operation which would require 200,000 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nuyen.gif) plus expenses per calender month. As to presents.... A disguised MGL-6 might make a nice toy, make it look like a legal side-arm of roughly the same size and give it all the widgets and a few exciting grenades in a nice presentation case. I like Gas/Splash with Lael and DMSO, excellent for area suppression and plausible deniability. |

I think Dust knows what 'gift' Seraph wants (IMG:style_emoticons/default/love.gif)
On a more serious note, I honestly cannot think of anything she needs, equipment-wise. I am open to suggestions. |

I'm not happy with the Extended Tests cap. That's meant to be an optional 'suggestion' but is stated in the changes document as a rule. This also makes some adept powers way WAY too powerful Dust gets an extra 14 goes at an extended test with these rules. However that is one im not happy with it works in some cases when doing some thing but modding or coding plus working in a controlled environment its silly. Where as jury rigging repairs to make an escape maybe I would use some thing like that if it would still be a possibility. A disguised MGL-6 might make a nice toy, make it look like a legal side-arm of roughly the same size and give it all the widgets and a few exciting grenades in a nice presentation case. I like Gas/Splash with Lael and DMSO, excellent for area suppression and plausible deniability. That is what I'm thinking of for DC. For Abaddon I was thinking an Ares Crusader as its a nice base weapon. However I'm open to your own ideas. |

The MGL-6 would work, though the chemical splash grenades show a degree of finesse that'd just be alien to DC. He'd be more likely to keep the thing loaded with high explosive or incendiary grenades.

Interesting, though a drone with a Body of 2 can't have more than 6 (Bod*3) points of armor.
I'd have skipped the bipod and given it an underbarrel weapon like a flamethrower, or a monofilament chainsaw. |

The bipod is so i can be set up with out a carrier and yeah I spotted the max armor of 6 after posting. Really where would this underbarrel weapon go?

I could see something like this having a coaxial Auto Assault 16 as a point defense weapon, mounted under the main missile tube. Also, if you use a smart firing platform instead of a bipod, you maintain the ability to emplace it like a sentry gun, and get back 3 modification slots. |

Very true. For point defence this:
QUOTE Auto-Assulte 12 factory smartgun sytem 16000 Additional Clip (Non-Pistol) Extended Clip Chameleon Coating Extreme Environment Mod (polar) Foregrip (Underbarrel) Sling total cost 18460 would work nicely with 2 20 round drums of ammo. |

So, it just hit me. This band of freaks is the League of Extrordinary Gentlemen. Tam and Dust can fight over who's Tom Sawyer and who's Quartermain, DC is Jeckyl and Hyde, Abaddon is Nemo, Lilith is the Invisible Man, and Seraph is Harker. Means we have to kill the next person we pick up, since he's clearly Darian Grey, but that's a problem for another day.

Quick question what is holding every one back? Game running slowly? Lack of time?

Writer's block. Normally, I can hear a character's voice in my head, narrating his own life in my usual longwinded and verbose style. DC just hasn't been flowing like that lately.

There doesn't really seem to be much happening. I'd like to get the negotiation out of the way and get cracking on shipping gear and prepping.
Running some combat simulations on the UV node would be a fun way of getting some action, perhaps you could do a 'Danger-room' spin-off thread and those that are interested could rattle through some sample engagements. |

That was my plan for the UV node. If we set the post after the negoiations thne we'll get the slow bit out of the way. Honestly we've done most oof it just got to put it all forward. Then I have to go um.. Xnuyen works the best.
