Hello everyone,
I'm looking for a few players two to four, I have a couple of friends already set up to play. So here is the down low: We are making the transition to SR4 so there will be small learning curve and this will be my first GM'ing of PBP. The roles we already have filled are, Close Quarters Combat/limited Magical Support, Fire Support/Close Quarters Combat. We have a Street Sam, and a Mystic Adept(summoner). Any Questions just ask I'll answer them to the best of my ability. We do use a few house rules (mostly for character gen) and I like a more Cinematic game style plus I'm professionally a Corrections Officer so I also favor sound tactical play as a FYI. Ok thanks, Brent |

Depending on what you want for your group, and what kinda chargen you're using, I'd be willing to cook something up.

Depending on the sort of characters you require I'd potentially be interested.
Already playing a matrix character in another game, but if you could use something in the line of a face and/or maybe a stealth character I could put something together. |

Ditto. Already playing a Matrix character in the same game, although it seems to be withering on the vine, so I wouldn't mind sticking with that depending on chargen rules..

Actually, I am curious regarding which house rules you use for character gen? Anything unusual or is it more like a few extra BP or changing the ratio of nuyen you get / amount of contacts etc? |

Nothing way out there, adepts get magic*2 for powers, and some of the powers have adjusted cost.
Adjusted Adept Powers costs (if not listed then the cost has not changed): Distance Strike 0.5 Gliding 0.5 Great Leap 0.25 Improved Combat Ability 0.25 Imp. Phys. Attribute 0.5 Traceless Walk 0.5 Wall Running 0.5 And I use most cyberware combination's as suites, I'm still working on a list. All Edge begins at the minimum at character creation (2 for humans, 1 for metahumans) and cannot be purchased higher with either BP or karma. Edge increases automatically at the following levels of karma earning: 10, 30, 70, 150, 270, 590 (i.e. the amount needed for the next point goes 10, 20, 40... etc.). You get Charisma x2 bp's for contacts, just about everything is open with in reason. That's it for character gen. Well still need Matrix support, Negotiation, and investigation. I fine with overlap as long as get the critical rolls filled. |

I'd be interested in playing the game. I have a hacker/secondary face from a L.A. based PbP game that ended prematurely.
Adjustments to the campaign (reducing edge, toning down the P2.0 aspect/motivation) shouldn't be a problem. [ Spoiler ] Edit: Adjusted the character some. Dropped Edge to 2, raised charisma and agility by 1 each. Agent is now rating 4, Spoof program rating 5, replaced Zoé Second Skin looking armor clothes with the real Zoé Second Skin. 10 BP free for contacts still. |

(Just to be clear: BP system, not karma system, right?)

@Fuchs. If your going to cover the Matrix perhaps I'll make up some sort of Adept, I haven't done that in over a decade...

I don't mind playing a "back-up" matrix/face char - the character is not exactly optimised so far (I'd have to go over some unwired stuff though, the character wasn't made with any other book than BBB and Augmentation as per that campaign).

Flag me interested to bring in Jake. His progs and warez are strong, for Matrix work, and he's used to getting it done on-site. Me and Fuchs would sit in a similar role, but hey, dual-wielding hackers...sweet. Not to mention Jake's not bad at facetime either.
http://forums.dumpshock.com/index.php?s=&a...st&p=720157 EDIT: Hey, they're both out of L.A. too? Fucking trippy. This would be a very interesting team dynamic. The well-meaning -engaged- perv, and the up-and-coming manipulative hottie. Similar builds, entirely different people though... I'd love to see how that works out. |

I'd definately be down for an investigating adept type detective. Maybe I'll actually find a use for the analytics power.

Yes, BP 400pts.
Fuchs: That should work I still have to read your character I'm at work so I'll get to it soon. Little Johnson: Sure there is still room. see the other post and get a character. Coldhand Jake: That should work, again I still have to ready your character. Tarantula: that should work. Ok guys have to run. Brent |

I'll go over the character then, and replace the edge points with some other stuff.

I'm in this game too (been talking with GM through PM), playing a driving/throwing adept. I was originally going to be a driving/whatever-else-is-needed adept, but it looks like we now have enough people that I don't have to overlap.
I am excited, I've wanted to play a throwing adept since Street Magic came out, but never found a game for one till now. |

So, a sammy and a summoner-focused adept, and most likely a primary hacker (I'll admit, it was the first thing I thought of, too). Looks like there's still room for a face, primary caster, lightfoot, and any sort of exotic specialist (demolitions, mechanic, ranger, etc).
Hmm, I think I've got a shaman in my folder somewhere that fills all three roles to some extent. Lemme see what I can throw together. |

Hmm, this is harder than I thought. Trying to build a Stealth/Close Combat Adept and I'm not sure I've got all the skills covered.
Unarmed Combat (Martial Arts) 6(+2) Stealth Group 4 Athletics Group 4 Perception 4 Exotic Ranged Weapon (Supersquirt) 4 Thrown Weapons 4 Thrown Weapons is an afterthought. Is there something obvious I've missed the points would be better spent on? |

I was thinking the Hackers would cover that but then Hardware would cover optical taps or splicing a Wireless adaptor onto a hardwired system, right?
